The main reason is the fact that no one would buy a phone at a rebate price for more then 299. VZW has just been making money off of LTE devices bc they were the first to offer it and no one else had it yet. Y not make money if u r the only one who offers LTE with majority of the US population. That is the reason y I believe this was done. (Please don't try to ...

They have the least amount of bouncing back compare to WebOS. At least WebOS will hopefully have the higher end if they license the OS like they say they may do. RIM should do the same. Most businesses are moving pass RIM and using iOS or Android. Time for change RIM or u will be instinct.

First of all. It's not up to the carrier to make the updates. Its up to the manufacture to make them. Yes the carrier can push it but it depends on sales. It's not their fought u bright a crappy device that was known to fail from the beginning. Those devices will be the last if they still stand when time passes on. Invest in HTC. They still care for older devices.

Then why would sprint pay them money for them to use their network. I believe the deal is that LS get money from from Sprint to use their spectrum and build the LTE out in that portion which LS will have access to and Sprint users will have access to as well. Why AT&T wants T-Mobile!
Dec 9, 2011, 1:54 PM
in the Article: AT&T CEO: Blocking T-Mobile Deal Will Lead to Higher Prices forum

Only reason why I see this is because they will have the advantage when it comes down to the international carriers. Most companies operate within and outside of the U.S. This gives them the advantage within the states because they will not have their customers worried too much bout buying a certain phone. LTE is not worldwide yet so GSM gives them the advantage. Plus more resellers woo come as well. Also cannot forget the spectrum if at anytime ...

All theory stating is that VZW is giving up spectrum in a area they built for LTE but the location is not buying at all. When LTE WAS release in Chicago VZW phones did not seek. So out of all locations VZW started offering 50.00 off on LTE phones which did not include 2year upgrade. Chicago is just not buying into VZW LTE. Why not sell off after you built into it already and much if nothing in outcome. ...

What's the difference in this merger then the VZW/ALLTEL merger? I'm sure majority of the people here were against it. Why would yhou want to stop someone who wants out the game but still wants to get paid also. When it comes down to it someone else other then Sprint will be next in line to take T-Mobile's place.

Well people are still getting iphones on tmobile anyways. IPhone is selling unlocked phones too. I had people come to me with iphones on their tmobile acct. They may not get all the assistants needed by tmobile but they can get it on their acct. So the cuz is still happen regardless if tmobile sells it or not.

Great idea but only problem is WIFI us always not available. So let's say for example you are out and need that important email or need to locate a place on the map. WIFI can't save you then. Their data must really be limited if they are really pushing WIFI so hard. That's worse then being capped at 2GB of data. Sons may get frustrated because of that. We will just have to wait and see.

Well I know for a fact the HTC Thunderbolt will not get it just because ofall the issues its been having with all the other updates and plus they just delivered gingerbread to us. And on another note the HTC Vigor (Thunderbolt 2) will be released soon and I'm sure it will come with ICS in it. I see it being released after the Samsung Nexus for VZW comes out. I give it December or January.

At least they gave some extra on the update. Ice Cream will come soon. But we got a feat that only HTC Sense 3.0 has which is the weather sound effects. I'm not complaining bout anything. I'm just happy the rebooting stopped. Technology fries too fast to have the lastest in software. It will always be flaws in anything new regardless. New phone or OS. RIM is always good in releasing updates once they test it themselves compare to other manufacturer's. Plus they still will keep older OS up to date. Me personally I am a Android user but I was once a blackberry user. Blackberry Tour that is was my last phone tho.

I would say it will be available for os7 too. RIM has always been worried bout security if their handsets which is one reason why most business stick with blackberry. They may be behind in the industry but they still popular among businesses and cooperate companies. Android still have security leaks.

They probably will just test it on the tablets first before their handsets. This is bc its a smaller market then the handsets and if its a problem then it can be fixed and not affect multiple customers as if it were for their handsets.
