my cell phone in 2002 had MMS. though for the record, i think its apple's fault, not at&t, that it took this long to get such a basic feature.

I believe the Sprint version will not have wi-fi, but the verizon version will. also, the sprint, verizon, and t-mobile version all have variations of the keyboard and button layout
Why only CDMA in the subway
It's interesting to note that there are only CDMA carriers involved in Chicago's subway system. I am really surprised that at&t, tmobile, and sprint are not yet available there, as it seems they all have strong markets in Chicago.

Are you serious? What is the deal with you being being so negative.. The Motorola Razr is a historic mobile device. It was the first phone to make a serious fashion statement and it "forced" other cell phone companies to put more effort into the cosmetics. The phone has sold over 50 million different versions. I mean how can I take you seriously when you think the RAZR is the worst phone ever made when it seems to be ...

I never owned one, but I felt it was a nice phone, or at least installed the razr-esque ideology into PDA phones, then again, perhaps we can expect an android based Moto Q.
Good Idea
I am a windows mobile fan, but I think this idea makes a lot of sense, but I think what Microsoft should also try to do is force all of their phones to be consistently updated, instead of relying on the operator. Both the g1 and the iphone receive updates normally, but for us windows mobile users, it's a hit or miss, and usually even if we receive an update, it takes a long time.

Can we get an in-depth review of the internet browser, if i'm not mistaken, palm said the phone can open as many windows/tabs as we want without slowing down the phone. I am interested to see what you guys think, especially in comparison to other mobile browsers and even the desktop browser. Thanks!

lol, it was an obvious joke.. anyway i use to be hardcore about screen resolutions, but now that they are up to par on high end phones, i think it should be also standardized of 24 bit colour on high end phones.. and i dont know about you guys, but i can definitely tell the difference between 64k and 16 million colour screen, the latter can obviously show much more realistic photo's

seriously, it is about time that HTC made a phone with 16 million colours.. in fact, i will purchase the phone soon and count every individual colour because i dont believe those htc bastards, and though i dont like the iphone, at least it was the first major phone with a 24 bit screen!
Finally a decent phone with no exclusive
Personally i'm tired of major carriers having exclusives on the "hot-new phones". i hope this method of motorola releasing a phone across multiple carriers at approximately the same time continues. For the record, i dont plan on getting the phone, but i hope other cell phone manufacturer's follow the same route.

Why is this phone alerady outdated? The cingular 2125 came out with Windows Mobile 5 last year... i know they have to do testing and stuff, but this is pretty sad, this new version of windows Mobile isn't really new...

The Picture in the phones profile shows a PocketPC screen when other photos on the net show it as a smartphone, the same mistake i saw with the motorola q on certain websites, can someone confirm for me this indeed has the smartphone version of windows mobile... thanxs

my guess would be that they physically took this feature out of the phone. it pisses me off that cingular purposely did this. if you ask me, it just shows that cingular is indeed evil and extremely greedy. i'm just glad the t-mobile version will include it, at least they have some heart

i have a friend who works at motorola and he let me play with this phone. it has itunes on it (again itunes has a song cap)!!! and it comes out in november with cingular and the PEBL is coming out with t-mobile. also, contrary to the rumors, the moto Q is still coming out with Cingular, and they are really trying to get it out b4 the end of the year, but i think its the windows mobile ...
