Get a recording when trying to dial out...any help would be greatly appreciated.

70 percent of the time when I try to make an outbound call, I receive this pre-recorded message. "To complete your call please re-enter the 10 digit number you are calling without hanging up and do not pressing send. Star 67 and star 82 can not be used on this call to block caller id." Even though it says I have two bars of signal, I think my phone and the connection between the tower is lost or ...

Thanks for the post guys! And, thanks for clearing up the part that is frustrating for the reps. However, I just want to say that I think a lot of the reason why people call in and try to get things that might seem unreasonable is because they've done it in the past and been successful. You know the retention department where they will throw in something "extra special" to keep you as a customer? ...

Don't get mad, get even!
Nov 22, 2009, 2:55 PM

I've been reading a lot of threads concerning customers that are on "old" Sero plans. I too have 2 Sero plans that I was able to get in 2007. It is time to upgrade my phones and I am getting the "phone run around" like most others that are on Sero plans. I understand the fact that Sprint wants more money for basically the same service plan I get now in order for me to carry ...

Customer Courtesy Exchange
Jul 6, 2009, 11:05 PM
in the Sprint forum

I had a quick question for a Sprint Rep or someone in the know. My Palm Centro has been having issue lately rebooting. After a few troubleshooting sessions with the Advance tech support the guy said he would send me another phone and I will send my old phone in. I was just wondering will this exchange effect my $150 upgrade rebate? As I'm eligible to receive $150 off a new phone on October ...

Need Help with phone problems

in the Sprint forum

I purchased a LG Muziq about 26 days ago and I've taken it back to the store 2 times about the battery and had the battery exchanged each time. I like the phone and its features very much except for the battery life. My phone's battery life depletes after only 24 hours of stand by time (no talk, no text, and no web/email) and the phone powers down. Is this normal? Does anyone else have this ...

I bought the Centro in October when it first came out and it has been a fantastic phone so far. The keys are a little small but after the first couple of days I got used to it. :D Reception is A+ Touchscreen is nice too! Wish it had a little better battery life, but I wish that with all my phones.

Upgrade Question?
Dec 15, 2007, 7:25 PM
in the Sprint forum

I have a question. I am new to Sprint, just signed a 24 month plan and I received phone at a promotional price. Fine, good, no big deal I promise to stay with Sprint for 2 years. So 18 months down the road I accidentally break my phone, I don't have the insurance because I personally feel $7 a month + $50 deductible is not reasonable. So I go to the Sprint store and I pay retail or full ...

I was given a discount code online that is: MORE4U On my last phone purchase. It claims that you can save $25 on your next phone (select models) What select models are they? I've tried to purchase a new plan/phone with this code and it doesn't work....(tried several different phones too) Anybody have any suggestions? Thanks!

Unstuck from Tmobile and Sprinting Ahead
Dec 8, 2007, 9:22 PM
in the T-Mobile forum

To whomever cares to read this: This is my two cents... I have been with Tmobile since 2002 and have 7 lines of service (I know, whoopie!). I live in Kansas and Tmobile has worked fairly well for me over the last 5 years, the price plans I did have and the customer service have been absolutely the greatest. However recently, my experience with Tmobile has changed. Starting in July, I was no longer able to receive signal in ...

Best Phone for Reception?

I am planning to port my number from T-mobile to Sprint in the very near future(next week). While I have been a 4 year, very satisfied customer with T-mobile, for some reason I know longer get service with them at where work. Something about the FCC made them turn off a tower. The biggest transition for me will be the phones. I'm used to having 2-3 different phones that I can use, just be switching ...

More plan options/features
Dec 15, 2006, 1:10 AM

First off, let me say, I'm not trying to be annoying and say how much I hate Tmobile. Overall, I like Tmobile, otherwise I wouldn't be with them. But my needs seem to be changing and I keep hoping that there will be more plan options come available soon such as: nights starting at 7pm, mobile to mobile as an included feature in all plans not just family plans, etc. Does anyone know of any new options/features available ...

sangyup81 said: But how much do you think that piece of equipment actually costs? It's way more costly than you think. I don't think Tmobile phones costs Tmobile that much. For example, if you want a Nokia 6030 then go buy one at Wal-Mart or Target for $39.99 and put your sim card in it. You don't have to sign a contract or renew your commitment to Tmobile at all. You can also go buy a Motorola V360 ...

Upgrade ?
Oct 3, 2006, 11:26 PM

I have been a customer of Tmobile since 2002. In that time, I've upgraded my phone once. I upgraded my phone(samsung E715) in August of 2004. I've been wanting to upgrade to a phone with Bluetooth. When I called about upgrading, I was told by a Tmobile customer care rep that I wasn't eligible to receive the full discount on a phone upgrade. Her reasoning was because, I had upgraded my phone plan back in ...

Re: Coverage?

Umm well maybe they oughta start, afterall, where do most people use their phones? Maybe Tmobile should "get more" and offer there customers a coverage check tool that offers a perspective from inside a building (they could even have a little disclaimer too, so they don't guarantee anything). They could be the first carrier to offer this. Sincerely, Tmobile customer for 4 years

What's wrong with being the a low price plan provider? As a customer I don't see one damn thing wrong with it. In fact, I've told 4 of my friends how many minutes I'm getting for the price I pay and they switched to tmobile. I used to understand the coverage thing, as I live in a small community of about 50,000 people in Kansas. However, after calling tmobile and talking to them about where the problem ...

Re: Attention T-mobile customers ( kinda long) reps chime in

My cable company doesn't make me sign a 12 or 24 month contract to get service with them. Also my cable company doesn't sell tv's, so yeah you're probably right, I wouldn't consider this. BTW- I'm not a customer that calls up asking for a new phone every six months. I've had the same phone for two years now. I'm just saying compare apples to apples, not apples to oranges.

I'm a Tmobile customer. I'm also a middle school special education teacher that works with students that have emotional and behavior disorders. If you ever wanna compare how rough your day was at work sometime, let me know. However, I'm not complaining, I love my job and I hope you all love your jobs too. Thanks for the great customer service tmob reps, I greatly appreciate it.

Re: $29.99 plan. Upgrade?
Jun 7, 2006, 3:05 AM

Just go to either walmart or target and buy a prepaid Tmobile phone. Right now at target I know you can get a Nokia 6010 for around $35, a Samsung X495 for $79, or if you wait for them to go on sale a Nokia 6101 for $88. It saves you from having to renew a contract and if something goes wrong with the phone within a year Tmobile will do a phone exchange or at least ...

You can also go buy a Tmobile prepaid phone relatively inexpensive or at least cheaper than trying to buy a phone w/o contract. However, you are limited to just a selection of a few phones offered by Tmobile. Just stick your sim card in and your ready to go.

I'm definitely Thinking of Switching. Even though I like Tmobile and their great customer service, I am not getting good signal anymore. I have called Tmobile several times about this issue and they keep saying we are upgrading all the time, but I am just not seeing it, or hearing it for that matter. I probably get disconnected because of loss of signal on 50% of the calls I make and receive at my home. That is just ...

I am a customer of Tmobile. And I can understand why that guy left tmobile. I live in a city of 60,000 people. I have problems as well receiving signal in my home and at my workplace. In fact most of the time my phone is on "roaming" to receive signal. Tmobile claims the service they have in the area of town where I live and work are good. I've called customer service several times to ...

What is with Tmob lately?
Aug 22, 2005, 5:23 AM

I called Tmobile yesterday to see if I could "Get More" minutes and was completely shocked by the answer I received from what I thought was a reasonable request. Currently I've been with tmobile for a little over a year. I'm no longer in a contract with them, and I have a pretty small plan with them. I only have the basic plan with preferred nites for $2.99, 300 text plan, and unlimited tzones. All ...

Re: T mobile VS Alltel
Aug 21, 2005, 12:04 AM

I thought I'd share my two cents worth since I send both of these carriers checks every month for service. I live in Kansas and I have to say that Alltel tends to exaggerate about their coverage area, they don't always have service where they claim. On the other hand, in places where I don't have tmobile signal i can most likely do a network search on my phone and find another network tower that tmobile has a ...

I've been having problems with Alltel's text messaging system as well. I can send text messages just fine, but receiving them is another story. Even tried using their website to send text messages to my phone and it doesn't work. I've called Alltel's tech support but they don't offer much help. Its a good thing I also have a Tmobile phone/service too. So I can communicate via text. P.S. Tmobile's customer service and tech support are ...

I have a motorola v300 and a friend of mine has a motorola v330 we both seem to have signal problems with our phones in the area we live. I bought a Nokia 6010 and it seems to work alot better. I don't work for Alltel or any cell phone company for that matter. However, I am a customer of Alltel, Tmobile and CellularOne. I have these 3 carriers for various reasons both business and personal. I'm also a former customer of Sprint, Nextel and Cingular. I can tell you if I lived in a city where both carriers (Alltel and Tmobile) existed and I had to choose one, I'd choose Tmobile. Both carriers have their pro's/con's when it comes ...
