You are rational andd I do think it's stupid for these groups to call for all them to shutdown becasue of the valuable service, even an upgrade isn't cost effective. Unless the towers are in an ETC area

So
you're saying that RF radiation will cause the same symptoms as nuclear radiation? For the full 2 years I worked in a radio station as a technician and had to climb a tower broadcasting at 1400 MHZ I never experienced any of those things. Way to compare 2 completely different types of radiation.
