It shows its run by Virgin Mobile which I guess was bought out in some sense by Sprint. I do know that Assurance does use Sprint's CDMA network (At least thats what it shows on the commercials).

No, we won't. If you don't like their location based services, then don't use google. Here is a phone that will ease your paranoia about big bad corporations controlling you. https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/pho ne.php?p=61 Enjoy!

WOW, really? that sucks. I don't have the phone but read three reviews from here, Engadget and Phone Arena and each site stated it performed on average with many other Android devices. I would have the 4G off when not using it, I would assume that would drain the battery more. Hope everything goes well with your experience with the phone :)

Re: Memory...

The 1GB is internal memory. So, its for apps, games (From the Android Market) and the Android system itself. SD card will hold pictures, videos, music and other media. 1GB is a solid amount for Android devices, when I had a HTC Magic it did not come with a lot of onboard usable memory (Less then 100 MB) and that cant hold a lot...1GB should be good...if not, try caching apps to SD.

Yeah, I hope it's good too. I just read a review on Engadget and they didn't like it that much. Apparently the screen isn't the best but they removed Xpheria's UI which was a huge lagger on the original Xpheria. From the looks of it, many Android devices moving forward will be "Playstation Certified" and have action to the future released app store that will sell games associated with it, whether its a port from an old game or ...

I don't think you can disable Sense manually. I personally like the Sense interface. I know there are home replacement apps on the Market that you might want to look into. However, some home replacement apps are based on how Sense looks like. I have never rooted by device before but I would assume there would be a customer ROM out there for Sense based devices that would rid of Sense however I cant confirm that, you would have ...

LMAO! I fail, no win here. No need to be rude though. I was wrong (Except for the 10+ tenure part and the 75.00 partial upgrade part). After April; if you are on one of the high tier data plans you will be migrated to gold. 3 month adverage of one of those plans and you need to have to have your account in a good status, so no late payments ;)

I just confirmed the upgrades will be 22 months from last upgrade. Generally around the one year mark from your last upgrade you qualify for a 75.00 upgrade. The 75.00 upgrade isnt too much savings however, its 75.00 off the full retail price. You get no mail in rebate or web specials or in store rebates with that. Again you just get 75.00 off the full price; it might make most sense to wait for your full upgrade so ...

Re: DON'T CHANGE YOUR PLAN!
Mar 22, 2011, 11:38 PM
in the HTC EVO V 4G / EVO 3D (CDMA) forum

Don't change your plan like the above user suggested. The upgrade changing has NOTHING to do with plans. In the past, for premier accounts, the 'primary' line would have an upgrade every year. Now, the only premier customers who get the primary annual upgrade are the ones considered "gold" customers (These are customers who are premier customers and have been with Sprint for 10+ years). For all other premier customers, the upgrade will be like every 20 months from ...
