I just recently sold my 10/22 that I had since I was about 10 (roughly 15 years ago). Never had any issues with it, and I'd say I put well over 10,000 rounds through that thing. Ruger is a company that really stands by their products.

I'd never flip the bird at someone knowing I've got a handgun on me. A quick rude gesture could escalate into a fistfight, which would likely escalate into a shooting.
Easier just to ignore it and walk away.

Yeah, I was going through ancient messaging threads on my phone and deleting them all and saw yours. Sorry about that, I must have just derped out and forgotten.
We moved about a month and a half ago, Susan was able to find work. Not the best area (one of the apartment building in our complex burned down because of a meth lab and killed three people). And it's miserably muggy/hot.
Also, gas down here = $3.08.
