You paid $249, did you get it from the "exclusive retail partner?". I hope you added on the lifetime GeekSquad optimization and buy back plans.
Most people are paying $199 or less, which is still too much - but it's the lifetime cost of the device and service you should be comparing.
iPhone made $199 and up an acceptable price for handsets.
