This post is exactly why I'm excited for the future. It may seem like a silly thing "Now I don't have to plug in everything... yay?" but it's so much more than that. Induction charging works at a distance too so we could just have it built into the floor of every house! As soon as you walk in your phone starts to charge!
Love the car idea too, or better yet just put it in every main road: Cars ...

But that's the thing, no one is eliminated in this, one of the current competitors is getting stronger to fill the void.
The new competition will come from try to beat a larger opponent rather than several smaller opponents. It's the same, if not, better competition than is already available now and I think it will only help everyone out.
I currently work for and own a T-Mobile phone and I'm not worried in the least.

I think my main problem is that I have no idea what is in AT&T's contract as I've never had them and I never will. I'm just arguing for the sake of arguing because I tether my phone for free and I found the concept of having to pay extra for that stupid.

Hey now, that's just being snotty. We have a right to use what we've purchased. You wouldn't condemn me for riding a bike I just bought would you?
AT&T would want to tell me that my bike is mine to use as much as I want since I paid them the money, just don't use it in these specific ways.
Obviously since T&C were signed then you should obey them. That doesn't stop it from being an infringement on my rights ...

You can only be a thief if you take what is not yours. I pay for my data, it is unlimited, I cannot steal an infinite amount of what I've already bought.
