Well either way you put it it does not change the fact that there is endless reviews saying it works on 3g too from people who bought the phone. I sold one to my dad it also works on 3g for him. I cant explain in detail how it works to make you belive that but read reviews or buy it and youll see it does

* The ThunderBolt will allow customers in a 4G coverage area to simultaneously use voice and data services. While it’s possible this simultaneous voice/data use may be available in some 3G areas, the experience will not be up to Verizon’s high standards and should not be promoted. straight from corporate emailing. so it does just not as well

YA dude you know you sound like you know what your talking about but you dont. I work at verizon and originally i thought the same thing so did the corporate trainer. untill he did our trainings for the iphone and the thunderbolt. The HTC rep told us at verizon it will do voice and data at same time on 3g and 4g and we double checked because we thought it was impossible on cdma. HTC figured it out ...

The thunderbolt beat the bionic in gaming scores and benchmark tests... The bionic might have dual core processor but its lacking the RAM to make them worth a dam. The thunderbolts RAM is much higher than the bionic. Also I talked to the HTC re who trained us all on the phones comming out and she said they were going to go with dual core but didnt because andriod 2.2 and 2.3 doesnt work well with dual core and ...

The reason the HTC Thunderbolt has simultanious voice and data is because it has a dual processing intena.

Phone will not be so good

So riddle me this. Why do people trip on this phone because its a dual core processor when it only has 512mhz of RAM??? The htc incredible had the same RAM as that....now unlike the bionic the Thunderbolt has one processor butWAY MORE RAM 768....making it a smoother running device. A phone can have ten processors but with no memory space to do the processing its SOL. also less thn a gig internal memory meaning VERY limited app space. ...
