Who cares what they raise it to. Theoretical limits are meaningless. You're lucky even now if you see what? 9M or so at my last check in the T mobile store here in Philly. Too bad next door (literally) at Verizon the LTE air card came out at 22, 26 and 24m in 3 separate checks.

It's not if but when. Sprint knows they have go to LTE. Anyone who has ever taken an econ or marketing class would see it by now. Being the only US carrier supporting it, the infrastructure costs will be much higher than LTE, and good luck convincing HTC or Moto or etc to build a WiMax device when everyone else is using LTE.
