Re: when is 2.3 coming out for droid X?? any body kno??
Well, the Nexus series are pure Google - no mods made to the OS. Most phones have a lot of UI modifications made by the manufacturer and therefore take longer to get.
Re: I'm torn
The kind of idiots who expect you to buy a new phone after a year instead of replacing the dead battery like on a normal phone. Also, whatever happened to the iPhone 2?

Re: OQO
Cell phone sized computers didn't flop - They became cell phones. Can you say Android?
Re: so i just put 2.3 on my incredible
There is only one version of the Vibrant. The Vibrant is the first version of the Galaxy S, the 4G is the second revision of the model.
Re: I wouldn't say that...
Hmm... I would have to say you are incorrect.
1. I do have to cede to you that iPhones do work well but Android devices also work quite well depending on the manufacturer. Android is an OS - you can't say the OS is bad because the manufacturer makes mistakes. Every company customizes Android for their devices and sometimes makes mistakes. Some examples are Motorola's Motoblur (A major failure imo) or HTC's Sense . Try using a Nexus phone ...
Re: The "I Pay Da Bill!"
Yep, and the whole extended lunch because of the computers going down pretty much weekly...
Re: Turning off the internet
Another reason is people buying smartphones without data plans, then using hundreds of dollars worth of data then complaining about it and telling their friends about the company ripping them off/crappy customer service or if the company reverses the charges they have to pay the care rep and their supervisor (who has to authorize the credit) who costs them even more costing the company a large sum of money.
Either way it was not good for the company or consumer ...
Re: so i just put 2.3 on my incredible
There is two versions of the T-Mobile Galaxy S phone - The Vibrant has a Black back cover and the proximity/light sensor on the left - The Galaxy S 4G has a multi-tone gray back cover and has a front-facing camera to the right of the speaker as well as the same prox/light sensor. The best way to tell is to go to the settings menu and look at the model number under the about phone portion - The ...
Re: Audible Texting in car
Any Android based phone is capable of doing that - there are others as well but Android tends to be the best.
Moto Cliq 2 root to 2.3
Does anyone know if someone has been able to root the Motorola Cliq 2 and flash it to Gingerbread yet?
Re: T-Mobile
Maybe that's why you rarely make any sales lol
Re: Whats the difference?
The Nexus is a pure Google phone, basically it is pure, stock Android 2.3. It is great for developers and those looking for an extremely customizable phone without carrier bloatware :D

 Nah, The Motorola Cliq series is way worse. Also the Motorola Charm, or really any phone with Motoblur, some of them work fine after rooting tho lol :P Also the Samsung Gravity T but its not as bad.
Perhaps if you had bothered to read my earlier post you would know I had said just that oh brilliant one
Re: T-Mobile
Well Mr. No Sales, maybe if they ever figured out how to make a decent phone without all the bloatware I might recommend one of their devices

Re: The "I Pay Da Bill!"
LOL I get those all the time, I am with T-Mobile's outbound program and probably a quarter of the people I call think I am in collections or something - The worst ones are the ones who have lived in the US all their lives and yet still think I am a collections cal even though I plainly state at the top of the call that this is a Sales/Courtesy Call.
