Re: a00000442ce4f9 Listed lost or stolen, but is brand new out of the package???? HELP!!!
Jun 25, 2014, 9:04 AM

if you bought it at a store take it back... if you bought it from a private party being brand new in a box doesn't mean it was not stolen... We had someone drive a car through the front of a store by us and take 100's of devices... those would all be reported as stolen. Also a common practice of credit mulers is to hit like walmart and ask them to leave the device in the box because it ...

I don't believe you get any 4g data on pageplus, it is evdo only... It is good for minutes and coverage and limited data usage, however if you want 4g Verizon's prepaid is a good deal. $45 = unlimited minutes and text 500mb data That data is low.. but you can buy what they call bridge data to bolt on it 3GB for $20 and it lasts 90 Days.... So if you use a normal amount over 60 days you will probably look ...

Re: True unlimited data plans?
Feb 18, 2014, 3:43 PM
in the Wireless Data forum

Verizon only throttles 3g, and it really isn't throttling, just getting thrown in the back of the line during high congestion periods, once congestion eases up your full speeds return. There is no 4g LTE throttling

convoy 3 is about it as far as decent flips.. If you are not on a shareplan and the phone is on a plan by itself they now have a $45 plan that has unlimited text, talk and a very low 250MB of data. You can put a smartphone on it and turn the cellular data off and just use wifi to avoid going over the data limit. Thought is you can get a smartphone plan pretty cheap if ...

It is included in the more everything plans - just call customer service to verify your account. Existing share everything plans will get migrated (don't know timeframe) but if you have an older plan this will not be included is my understanding. Call *611 and ask CS - incoming is included

for two phones I might be wrong but I don't see it being that much cheaper? Sprint Truly unlimited everything (well unlimited data and messaging if on their smaller Native Network as it doesn't include their roaming partners) is $209 If you can live with 1500 minutes you are looking at $150 You use 4GB... Verizon would be unlimited talk and text and 6GB (including their roaming partners... so entire network) You would be looking $160 8GB $170 Maybe I am missing something, but doesn't ...

I am white, speak zero Spanish.... I would still shop there, store looks sweet. I wouldn't drive by it to go to another and wouldn't go out of my way to go to that store specifically, but there is no reason why a non Hispanic wouldn't shop there and buy a phone. I see no reason why they can't cater, I deal with customers regularly that have a hard time with English. As a business owner why not market ...

You bringing in wimax next? at&t covers 275 million with hspa+ Not sure how tmobile advertises like they have more than them? Verizon will cover 300 Million with LTE in the next 5 months, currently 250 million (LTE is almost as big as at&t hspa+ coverage and will pass it in the coming months. It already passes tmobile in terms of covered people. To say Verizon's coverage ...

I have been happy with mine except for the antenna (Also had antenna issues with gs3 and every other samsung phone at my house) The battery isn't the greatest either. I am going back to Motorola, My wife's Razr M picks up far better at my house and my Friends original Razr has 3 bars of 4g and the samsung devices I have had in my home have a hard time even holding a 4g signal in my house. ...

I RARELY witnessed hspa+ getting more than 2 mbps in the areas I travel (yes they are major markets and I travel A LOT) I usually see more around 1.5. I have not seen my 3g run slower than 700kbps in years with Verizon. Is hspa + faster than Verizon 3g = Absolutely is it on the same level as LTE, not even ...

Any Premium Retailer can do an annual upgrade and most premium retailers won't charge the $20 like a corp location would on these. Not sure where you live, hhgrgeg (midwest and east coast) has a premium retailer and they are giving a $100 hhgregg gift card to anyone who upgrades or starts new service till the superbowl. Bestbuy is doing a $50, but I don't think they can do annual upgrades. If you don't want to wait and you are ...

Personally I prefer Droid, however I was in hhgregg today and they said they still had plenty in stock.... they are not nationwide, only midwest and east coast, so that doesn't help everyone, but if you didn't get one and want one this might be an option. They just put Verizon in there so I don't think anyone thought of picking one up there at launch. Me... waiting for the Nexus or Vigor, if the Iphone 5 has LTE I ...

and I would say neither as they are both end of life and their replacements are basically in route as we speak. vigor/nexus/bionic I am less worried about the software issues as these are all now 2nd generation 4g devices. Look at the bionic, they learned and put a 1735mAh battery in it for the very reason that 4g sucks the life out of the phone.

not sure where you live but I saw the Bionic for $229 at hhgregg but they are not nationwide. Radio shack also had the $100 off any phone when they brought Verizon back, not sure if they are still running it. For me Iphone 4s no 4g= FAIL I would get the Bionic or wait for the vigor or nexus.

hhgregg just had it in there ad for free. They don't own the retailer in there it is a premium retailer that offers instant rebates. Just don't go through the website as it is ran by wirefly, you have to go in the store for the premium retailer. Anyway, if you have an hhgregg near you (I know they are not national yet) then you can pick it up for free and since it is a premium retailer ...

Not sure where you live, Where I am at one of the big 4 just put kiosks inside hhgregg. So you get a premium retailer not owned by the big box. You get a premium retailer that has Instant Rebates honors NE2, annual upgrades, 1 year contracts and will price match BB. Also their phone protection destroys Asurian. I got my Incredible for like $99 with the protection included during some promo. If anything happens to my phone they will ...
