T9 Can Learn Words
Just thought I'd share...T9 can actually learn words on the Flipshot :D . I randomly stumbled upon this today. If you have a word that isn't in the dictionary...type it in using ABC and then go back to T9 mode. The next time you need to use that word, start entering a few letters at a time and then just hit the next key...it will scroll through all possible words including your 'new' word... Now, ...

Some of my messages were picture messages. I eventually got a message that said the memory was getting low and due to messages...so I ended up deleting them. I turned on Auto-Delete Inbox...too lazy to manually go through every message I have.
My suggestion...save any pictures as soon as you get them.

I haven't used the phone charger b/c I use the desktop one all the time, but the Verizon guy advised us not to use the car charger frequently with this phone. Go figure.

The 4500 doesn't have an option to change the LCD, but you can change the LED (the blinky light). Go to Menu>>Settings (9)>>Display (2)>>Status LED Colors. You should be set to change the colors then. Hope this helps. :wink:
Security On This Phone
Is there any way to lock certain features on this phone without having to do it manually? I liked having the option of locking (MOTO T720) my TXT messages (no unwanted snooping)and Get It Now application so no one could accidently access it because it uses air time.

They are lying. You have to redownload it, but when you get your bill call and explain to them what happened and they are to credit your account. Don't take no for an answer because my Mom and I have had 3 different phones and they always credit the account to whatever we had orginally paid for the tones.
