Then again with $100 towards the new phone along with the rebate it would be a good deal. I want to know why this phone is nowhere to be seen on the Audiovox website. Probably nowhere on the site because it's not out yet? Just a guess... If it helps, the accessories are all over the site... just do a site search ...

With all due respect to phonescoop.com, I've noticed a few feature listings for phones that are incorrect. For example, phonescoop lists the Audiovox 9500 as not having an alarm. My 9500 definitely has a distinct alarm function... I used it 4 times last week to wake up when I was on vacation. I also believe the assignable ringers (ringer ...

The 0-7 you control with the buttons is only able to max out the max volume that is set in the software which is at 1 out of 8 right now. You can seem edit like people do on vXXX phones and get a louder volume. I really wonder why Motorola does this... it seems like their phones are always lacking for volume... if the switch were less complicated, I think a lot of people would do it.

wow, can't believe RS has these before the VZW corp stores
Jul 29, 2004, 10:53 AM
in the Motorola V710 forum

IMO, VZW really screwed up if RS is making the first sales on these phones... from a marketing and branding perspective, VZW corp stores should ALWAYS be the first to have any new phone. not that i care that much either way, but VZW really sort of shot themselves in the foot by not being the first out of the block themselves.

don't think so... but then again, it was the 1st color screen phone for verizon and didn't cost nearly as much at the outset as the 710 will. 710 will have huge demand, but not at least initially from the "average" customer.

$349? was that full retail or with a 1 or 2 year contract? if it's $349 with a 2 year and no rebate, i'll pass. that's way too expensive, especially compared to the 7000 with a 2 year.

The flyer/ad from the indirect retailer in SF had a price of around $180 including all rebates, but there were two rebates: a verizon rebate and the one from the indirect. Not sure how much the rebates added up to though.
