Kayslay34, Thank you for your well thought advice. It never occured to me that this was my fault. I am simply trying to limit who my son is in contact with. He is far from being a bad kid. I want to limit who he can call and text and I want to limit who can call him and text him. My son having a cell phone is as much of a convience to me than it is to ...

Hey folks... I could use some direction. I have a 16 y/o son who went way over on his minutes and texts causing a large bill. I took his phone, put in a lock code and restricted his calls to only his phone book, so he can stay in touch with imediate family for emergencies. Within 4 hours he figured out how to add an additional number to an existing contact and therefore could call whomever he wanted. We I ...

Adilus, If you live in AZ than you have Alltel available to you. There is not a better carrier out there for reception. It is a CDMA carrier and therefore not going to work in London, but you would be much better off getting yourself a PP phone based out of London. That would be much cheaper and probably get better coverage. The service with the best reception in the US is Alltel. How do I know? I am ...

What time did your call begin? If your NW start at 9pm and your call began before 9pm the minutes are considered peak minutes. NW are only good towards calls that start after the NW time begins.

Capt Plooky, The things that gh200200 stated he recieved when he upgraded (earpiece, car charger, etc) seem to lead more towards the fact that he got a good deal. The real facts here are that you are a corporate employee and many of you always want to make negative remarks about Agents. Feb 21, 2006, 8:48 AM

It is stealing because you are getting something for a certain price because you sign an agreement, but you do this knowing that you have no intention of fullfilling that agreement. When you sign a 2 yr contract and pay $29.99 for a phone that costs $220.00 you do not own that phone until you have fullfilled that contract. Let me put it into context that someone in your maturity level will understand. If your Mom agreed to pay you $20.00 ...

Typical Customer BS: Add A Line and cancelling
Feb 19, 2006, 1:46 PM
in the Sprint forum

Customers that think this way ruin it for everyone else.... Take responsibility... Why look for ways to rip off the business man? These phones cost a lot more than you pay when you activate them. Example: Phone costs $180.00. YOu activate a plan on a contract you get phone for FREE, Cell Store earns $220.00, makes $40.00 net profit after commission. You cancel service within 6 months, the cell phone store's commission gets taken back. It is called a ...

That is because Alltel is a regional carrier and has not made the expansion yet to be National. Please check with your boss or the internet before you start your next thread. You will find out that Alltel has the largest Network of ALL CELLULAR Phone companies. Alltel and Verizon roam on each others network to help one another out. If Verizon and Alltel stopped sharing towers tomorrow, Alltel would lose about 34% of its current coverage map. ...

1st) Indirect Agents / Dealers or whatever you want to call them do NOT get commissions on any activation or upgrade unless the phone is new, currently in T-Mobiles line up and is a phone that was purchased from T-Mobile directly with no middle man. 2) The C225 is available and being sold right now at T-Mobile. Maybe not in your store, your area, your state, I dont care. But here in Florida it is on my price sheet and ...

Very inexperienced young people, Do you realize that phones have an actual cost or do you think a FREE phone is actually FREE to T-MObile as well? Just in case you answered incorrectly, the FREE phone that T-Mobile offers its customers costs T-MObile and its Indirect agents about $135.00. Well on a post paid activation indirects agents get a commission for activating that customer of about $220.00 leaving $85.00 for profit, before expenses like payroll, electric, rent and ...

I agree, I think they should make all customers pay the same price, without a contract or anything to hold the customer obligated. Of course that would require the customer to pay more for the phones. From what I read in these forums that would be ok, RIGHT? The customer would rather pay $360.00 for a phone and not have a contract than get the phone for FREE and be obligated. RIGHT??? Isnt that what your saying? OH??? I ...

IWork4TM, Anyone ever told you that you are a shallow, one sided idiot? Well then let me be the first. Not all indirects are bad people, just like not all corp reps are perfect. No one in this forum is perfect so for you to catagorize all indirects as being liers and theives makes you very small minded.

You guys see the title of this thread? It is about compensation. 2nd of all, if a any handset other than a new handset directly from TM is activated agents do not get paid commission on the transaction. So either you have some real idiot indirects in your area, or someone is telling you stories, because there is no benifit for an agent to sell used handsets.

I am not saying that all agents are great, just that most are doing business in an ethical manner and deserve more respect. I actually have 9 stores and do 750/800 activations per month. I used the example of 1 store and 60 acts per month because it is easier to explain the expenses of 1 store. Now you say, well all those acts you making lots of money. My employee think that way as well. I own the business so I must be "raking in the cash". Well - Its not that simple. Everyone start talking about it at work! Let your boss's know that your not happy! As of April 1st commissions for everyone, indirect agents and corporate employee's are getting cut. They will be cutting commissions and raising compensation on data features. In other words you will have to sell a $49.99 plan and $15.00 worth of features to earn about 20% less than what you are earning now. Plus, the features have to stick for 150/180 days, just like ...

I am talking about compensation changes! I am talking about Alltel cutting their commissions and putting half of their agents out of business. I am telling all you AGENTS you need to be sending your rep and their boss an e-mail letting them know that you will not accept a cut in your compensation. 80% of Alltel's distribution is indirect agents. We need to stand up to Alltel and fight for our money. This is what happens when people ...

Anyone here in the position to know if any compensation changes are in the works. I am an Agent and I just cannot afford to continue to sell the product. By the time I take the loss on the equipment I am netting like $120.00 an activation. If you do 60 activations a month that is $7200.00. By the time you pay rent $1800 = $5400.00 = 1 full timer & 1 part timer $3000 = $2400, electric $200 ...
