Re: SIM card
Yes, you can copy the information from your old SIM to your new one.
No, the ATT SIM will not work with a Cingular phone (and the reverse is true, as well)
Re: Treo 650 sim card
Where was this advisory posted?
Re: Just out of curiosity....
Hey, rick, I'm in Ashland, too - What team are you on?
Re: Any advantage of migrating from AT@T to Cingular right now?
Another Pro: Also, you would get free mobile-to-mobile with the Cingular plan.
Re: Intena Replacement
I've checked with Motorola - they don't send out antennas, nor will they even sell them - they require you to send in the phone to Motorola to get it repaired.
Customer service # for Motorola is 866-289-6686.
Re: New Phones
It's on the website now. :)
Re: Starting out with Cingular
I have seen 8000+ minutes on some accounts (mainly family plans). ARPU stands for Average revenue Per User. It includes the cost of the rate plan and recurring monthly charges (data packages, insurance, etc)
Re: may leave cingular....just not sure
There are 2 GAIT phones: SE T62u and Nokia 6340i.
The Nokia is no longer available (from cingular, anyway...try eBay).
The SE T62u is only in a few markets.
Re: BUYING A GAIIT NOKIA PHONE?!?
oops..already a correct reply...sorry :oops:
Re: BUYING A GAIIT NOKIA PHONE?!?
We are, but you would have to have the GAIT phone listed on the account (IMEI, ESN, and SIM) to take advantage of the TDMA coverage. In this case, it wouldn't be quite as simple as putting the SIM from your v551 into the 6340i
plus, you definitely CAN have GAIT phones on GSM plans.
Re: Cingular Rebates?
Rebates also vary by market...
Re: New Sprint Agent
I think that he means high churn rate.
Re: Question to Orange Reps
I can still change my screen size (not as eaily...) - right click on desktop and choose "graphics properties", then change the screen area. :)
Re: Easy Job
You're still supposed to go through the normal save process before you transfer - you get dinged by QA (Priority call) if you don't. :(
Re: The REAL Message of the Consumer Reports Wireless Survey...
Cingular pro-rates it's early-termination fees - in CARE markets, anyway. :wink:
Re: Icons for Ohone Book?
Are the numbers saved on the SIM or the phone itself? I think you can only categorize them if they are saved on the phone.
Re: Roaming in Purto Rico
You're covered in Puerto Rico.
:)
Text messages sent out of the US are .20/each, and THEORETICALLY work with any company.
Re: Data Cards and Macs
sorry, that should be BEFORE a $150.00
:oops:
Re: Data Cards and Macs
Cingular has a Sony Ericsson GC83 data card, which is EDGE compatible.
It is not showing as being compatible with the Mac OS, though.
The price is 149.99 with a 150.00 rebate (2-year contract)
Re: Mobile IM
It is just on the line that orders it. Sorry.
Re: Flash/Flex
The version of operating software on a phone, I think.
Example: the flex version of the software on my Motorola v400 is GS9V400CIN02NA0FB

Reconnect fee is $36 per account.
Re: Telegence.....
Ask Jack is gone. yay. It was replaced by CIQ (Cingular IQ) and that was replaced by CSP (CIQ Sales Portal)

9 stands for 9:00 n@w start times :)
No, it actually does stand for 9.99 secondary lines - the secondary phones for the nation plans that do not have the "9" in the plan code cost 19.99 each.

oh, and the 9 stands for your additional lines at 9.99.
FT= family talk
9= 9.99 add a line
NATP= national plan
UMM=unlimited mobile to mobile
UNW= unlimited nights and weekends
Actually,
NAT = national plan
P = Promotional plan (because of the unlimited m2m)
