New Social Media Policy
Recently left U.S. Cellular and found out from some of my former colleagues that there's a new social media policy that basicly says employees are not allowed to talk about US Cellular in any public platform unless authorized to.
From what i've been told this policy is meant to prevent customers from getting wrong information on forums and facebook. Somehow the reps who are trusted in working with customers every day and selling the US Cellular brand ...

While i believe the ideals behind the D.O. are amazing and think every company should adopt them i think a lot of times they just become the go to answer for why changes occur or decisions are made. It's used as an easy out to answer the "why did they do that" questions. rather then actually living it we are just told that its because of the D.O.. I don't know if it's used so much to ...

To assume anyone is lazy because they speak their mind on a subject is plain idiotic. And for to long have i heard that speaking your piece and letting people know whats going on is un dynamic. If US Cellular really is the company they say they are then it shouldn't matter to them who knows what. We aren't leaking info on sales or giving out sensetive info.
I love when new employees come on ...

Frustrated
I've been employed with US Cellular for almost 7 years, and while i would never say i drank the kool aid, i've always enjoyed working for the company. But lately it seems like all thats being done is expecting more work for less pay. I'm expected not only to help the customers in my store but also i have to maintain my customer contact lists and now have to report to my manager regularly on how to ...
