Beginning to think an iPhone buster. When it was introduced at CES I believed it to be superior to the iPhone in many ways. Time will tell, but Sprint was not the best partner to go with; but rather the last for an exclusive. AT&T (iPhone), Verizon (BB Storm), T-Mo (G1).

That's an old fable. T-Mobile coverage is excellent as of late. I'm so tired of hearing this s**t about coverage. People are hating on T-Mo and have never used the service. In my opinion, I believe people are jealous of the pricing plans at T-Mo, and as a result want to bash them. Grow up! Use the service and then come to a conclusion. This handset (smartphone) will change the face of the wireless community. Mark my words.....

Yeah, it is basically the same phone. But, it has 3G and GPS. The body feels better in my hand with the plastic back. Battery life will be what it will be. Samsung puts crappy batteries in their phones, and they die just as quickly as iPhone's battery. The instict is a noble effort on Samsungs part, but IT AIN'T NO iPHONE!! Quit trying to fool yourself.

Eric, Good job. You don't need to explain yourself. There are plenty of PHOBES out there, and if they don't like what they see on phonescoop they can go elsewhere. Would it have made it better if it were a straight porno site? I think not, someone would still comment and judge. Great review, keep up the good work. :D

After seeing a live preview of the iphone this is garbage. Like Eric said, why would you want to use a stylus AND your finger. It looks to be almost more complicated than a WM device without a touch screen. I don't see this catching on, especially since it will cost relatively the same price as the iphone. Nobody does it like Apple. 8)

T-Mos coverage is fine. Everyone knows roaming agreements are in place and not only that they've added over 800 towers last year. You're an idiot. It is your job to take the bad with the good. I am sure you are not always the best customer. The cell phone companies tout free phones and cheap upgrades. The ringtones are loud. I have had the MDA (just sold it) and I now own the 71oo series blackberry. 2 words-Great Phone! I needed email, and all though the MDA could do this it was subpar to the blackberry. It is very difficult to make calls 1 handed. Even with voice command it is still difficult or unpleasant to operate. Go for the BB and it's cheaper. :D :D :D

The word STUPID bothers me. How old are you. Whatever the age you're immature and don't deserve a job in customer service anywhere. T-Mobile will eventually figure out your Shi**y attitude and you'll be lookin elsewhere. Try to keep the forums informative, vs complaining about YOUR bread & Butter. :o

Point well taken. Coowguy should lean on this information. In his last post-he again called T-Mobile customers STUPID for not knowing their minutes. T-mobile would be better off with more reps like you vs Coowguy-who obviously is very immature and not as bright as I would have hoped for in a T-Mobile rep.

Besides the fact its 3G, it is nothing more than an uglier out of date looking MDA. T-Mobile will not have 3G for many years to come. The best answer for you is to buy an MDA. Also, I believe the next pda phone ( 4 T-Mo) will be the HTC Hermes for the US market.

I wouldn't count on it. Call T-Mobile and ask. I know they support the Treo 650. They will try and work with you, but because the W600i using the symbian operating system, this may pose a problem for T-Zones. I really doubt T-Zones will work, but call customer care. Hope this helps. I have owned many unlocked european devices and none have worked as far as the web goes. :(

You're only talking about $10-$20 a month. I have the 1500 anytime plus unlimeted N&W for $49.99. I have been a customer since 2000 when it was VoiceStream. Just sign up on a plan you can afford and read these boards regularly and go to T-Mobile.com regularly and eventually they'll offer a promo you'll want to switch to. An extension is required to switch plans.
