27 hours of heavy usage is phenomenal. The razr, after about 4 hours of heavy usage, would conk out.

So I had the Razr for about 6 months and have now switched to the Maxx for a few weeks. For a brief minute I considered looking into the Galaxy Nexus or the (sigh) iPhone for the same reason

camera issue
sometimes when i take pictures it does not save or process properly. the end result is a gray block at the bottom of the pictures... has anyone experienced that before? is there a resolution?

How did you charge it? I have noticed that if I charge it via the USB it will not charge from a 0% battery - only if I attach it to the wall...
Calendar Issues
I have two google accounts synced. One WAS enabled to sync calendars but is not anymore. This is the account i signed the phone up with so I cannot delete it. The other IS enabled to sync calendars.
The account that WAS enabled still syncs and the calendars pop up when the phone is shut down and turned back on.
I cannot get the calendars that ARE synced to be the only ones visible.
Does this make sense? HElp! Thanks!

Sometimes she does funny things, like force close and not ring with the selected contact tone, but i've never couldnt get things through with a strong LTE signal.

Honestly, I regret buying this otterbox.
It makes this phone HUGE... and its thin size was part of the reason I bought this... you are better off with a screen protector and a silicone case - of course unless you plan on dropping it down the stairs... but your probably better off wrapping it in bubble wrap.

I use two things, even though people tell me they dont work... I think they do. I downloaded 2X battery, it kills the internet when my screen goes dead and advanced task killer, and set it on the second highest setting (I forget what its called).
I tend to get between 10 - 12 hours of battery with normal use. What battery life are you getting?
Screen Freezing
Has anyone else experienced the screen freezing when a call comes in, during a call, or playing a game?

Not giving up on Moto YET - but giving up on the Bionic!
I got the green light (because I am within my 14 days) to pre-order the RAZR on the 27th and an extra set of days between the pre order and whenever the RAZR arrives.
I believe the RAZR will be the flagship that the Bionic never was - and willing to pay the $35 restocking fee on that hunch.

I switched my Thunderbolt out for the Bionic and it was probably the worst decision i've made. I kept hearing flagship and best phone - mistake. The phone is riddled with big bugs. Buzzing in the speaker, internet connectivity issues, unreal errors (memory full), network issues. App's disappearing.
I'm ready for the thunderbolt back.

My voicemails are not coming through - at this point they are unable to tell if its a hardware or network issue. It has only started since I have done the gingerbread update... whatever updates came after that.

I own a thunderbolt and have since March 2011. I have had more than half a dozen handsets, have had almost every issue - and did every update. If I had to do it over - I would wait for the Prime or iphone 5.

I am not having issues with the bluetooth, but I am having trouble with voicemail. It seems that despite how long it takes verizon to update and upgrade software, there are always tons of issues and bugs.

Good find, unfortunately if you look around other forums you will find that as of 7/9 we are still using the MHS option without getting the prompt upon initiating the session.

As long as I am still seeing that, and it works, its free. I presume it will not simply automatically change, it will need the update (which I am not doing).

Has anyone installed it and noticed anything get better?
I am holding out as I know it locks down my ability to use the mobile hotspot without a fee.

Yes. My phone now goes through more than one battery every day (close to 2) with little to no use (but the internet stays on). Phone reboots on its own. The contacts have "linked" and dial with a + which I always get a network busy signal,
The worst is when i go to send a message and it won't let me type... i have to exit and get back.
Time to push to try a charge, this is stupid.
Force Close + Battery
Anyone else having alot of apps force close on you? Also, Lately for whatever reason my battery life is really really bad - not just really bad, just upgraded with the software hope this might help...

in the settings you have to manually switch it. there is no touch button like the iphone.
Two (easy) Thunderbolt Questions
1. Can you make custom Text (or sms) tones? I have an iPhone and i am not able to do the SSH hack to make it work. I know its silly but its a selling point for me
2. Again with the iPhone comparison - the battery on my iphone needs to be charged twice a day, I think I am only a moderate user. How does the battery fair on the T-Bolt.

Droid 2.2 froyo vs 2.3 gingerbread
Excited for the phone - eagerly awaiting the 28th. New to the whole new age smartphone idea. Been trying to read about 2.2 on the thunderbolt vs. 2.3 on the bionic - wondering if that has factored into anyones decision to wait... can we upgrade this to 2.3?

I like the glyde, but didnt like the glitches on it. I know they were fixed with a major software update about a year ago... but i would have rather the phone been replaced - and it was.
I have been watching this on phonearena and glad it came out. I wonder if there are more examples than ONE. we are not talking about a texting plan, which I do not categorize as the same thing as a data plan. ...

Verizon is officially crazy (as if they werent before).
There should be no mandatory data plan for anything - ok... PDAs fine, everyone's doing it - but for regular phones? that's absurd.
I've watched and wanted this phone for a while, glad its finally out - sorry that I will have to pass on it for the extra fee, ill stick with my enV touch.

Thank you for your response. I understand that the output is on the inside panel. It is also on my i760 smartphone - but that works when its not slid open. I am not concerned with it working best and in what position - the idea that it either does or does not work.
I also am not the biggest fan of bluetooth headsets, but thats a different story - really only concerned with the speaker, hopefully you will let ...
