yea
Yea they will owe a lot of the merger doesnt work out. i wouldnt make such a risk but they obviously see some great opportunities. it might be more than $6b if this merger gets approved. why? overlapp
Re: T-Mobile has the same thing, kinda.
they all do :)
Re: Sprint drops strongest LTE hints yet
yea but they have to get rid of every single subscriber from the IDEN network in order to better use the spectrum esp for LTE or wimax
Re: better phone??
signal wise: inspire :)
Re: Good news is: Sprint adds 1.1 million subscribers.
It doesn't exactly work like that. I can say why if you want me to

Re: 3g vs any at home serv
http://www.pcworld.com/article/222039/atandts _uverse_and_dsl_data_caps_good_deal_bad_prece dent.html
"Starting May 2, AT&T will limit DSL customers to 150 GB per month, and U-Verse fiber optics subscribers to 250 GB per month, according to DSL Reports. Overages, which cost $10 for each 50 GB, will only apply to customers who exceed their limits three times or more. If you're an AT&T home Internet subscriber, you should get a notice about the bandwidth caps by the end of this month."
Re: 3g vs any at home serv
yea its shameful that they are doing that; there will always be caps on everything :) even AT&T is putting a cap on their landline service.
Re: Well...
1. did you know what the goverment made was? it wasnt to shut it down. it was just simply to change some spectrum holdings. just in case you forgot what the deal was; http://www.wileyrein.com/publications.cfm?sp= articles&id=94&newsletter=6
2. again they werent going to lose their DC.
Re: Voice your opinion at FCC site about AT&T / T-Mobile merger
crazy
Re: Well...
their whole strategy didnt work and that was just pathetic.
i know all about the freqs and iden :) but what i am saying is that they had to plan it better; they didnt, thus they failed.
Re: 3g vs any at home serv
yea netflix alone will eat up 5gig in a day :)
Re: a year later?!?
this isnt too late actually.. its another version of the iphone that people actually wanted. apple is feeding off of what customers want. sometimes they do it more slowly than other times but waiting a year is great..
so for example if the new iphone 5 or whatever is supposed to come out in a year or so that means that their upgrades, if they use it to get the white one, will be exhausted which means that they will ...
Re: a year later?!?
dont forget apple care :)

Re: WHITE iPHONE 4 FYI
:) so sales rep need to appreciate this :)
APPLE CARE!! $70 dollar bundle
Re: Voice your opinion at FCC site about AT&T / T-Mobile merger
are you going to say anything?
Re: WHITE iPHONE 4 FYI
well there are always going to be new things that sales reps can sell for the iphone. now since the white iphone has come out and everyone wants it... that means more apple care, bundles and things like that for the sales reps :) apo shall go up :)
Re: WHITE iPHONE 4 FYI
ya. more money for the sales reps :)
Re: Good news is: Sprint adds 1.1 million subscribers.
thats true but you said there was good news. where is it?
majority of these were from prepaid which generates less revenue :)
Re: My Two Cents
2010 they spent a total of $1.45 billion on capex :) i doubt it will be 50% to IDEN.
Re: My Two Cents
how do you figure it is losing money? i dont understand where you get your information from. Sprint as a combined company in 2010 spent $1.445 billion in capex. that is nothing for any company. AT&T and verizon spend $10+ billion.
so out of the $1.445 billion how much do you think is for IDEN and CDMA?
Re: Good news is: Sprint adds 1.1 million subscribers.
nope. quit spewing misinformation :)
Re: My Two Cents
i think it is hard to tell what the other person was talking about. the capex for IDEN is small. i wish i had the figure to give you but it is small compared to the overall capex spent by Sprint on both networks.
they spend on avg $500m per quarter on the entire network (both CDMA and IDEN). thats about $2b per year. that is nothing. for them not being able to get more revenue is a problem. ...
Re: Good news is: Sprint adds 1.1 million subscribers.
i asked you a simple question and you couldnt answer. typical.
Re: Is AT&T a wireless spectrum hog?
hard to get rid of spectrum :)
Re: My Two Cents
it doesnt generate revenue?
what do these subscribers do?: "5.3 million on iDEN" (postpaid). and "3.2 million on iDEN" (prepaid)
they give monopoly money?
Re: I wonder if they're making money yet (updated)
you are totally welcome
Re: Yes.
whats good news? net losses (financial) and losses subscribers?
