I too thought this would be a great phone, but now I'm just dissapointed.

I don't know what you are talking about kid, but your link is not related to the z500a phone. Here read this link and scroll towards the bottom. You have to read the specs on the z500a closely and you will see, that Bluetooth™ is not an option for the phone.

According to a Neonode spokeswoman , the Swedish start-up will contrary to previous expectations not be able to bring its upcoming N1 smartphone to shelves before Christmas.
The N1 smartphone, based on a proprietary platform running atop Microsoft's Windows CE .NET operating system, is however currently undergoing external testing with a limited number of persons, with Neonode anticipating a launch of the product some time in 2004.
SonyEricson Z500a vs. Motorola v600

v600 firmware for cingular???
Hello to all.
How can I go about getting the firmware for my v600 (unlocked) phone to match the service? I know there is some sort of firmware or flexware out there to correct some bugs on the phone, but even that software has bugs in it. Can you help us (unlocked) guys out.

You're just a drama queen. V600 is nice and stable. Both of you must have been throwing the phone around and treating it like an old rag. If you pay such a high price for a phone, treated like an egg. Everything you have said is a lie and the phone is rock solid. Of course it will not survie a fall to solid concrete. How do you Animate the wallpaper?
I've noticed when selecting various wallpapers in the V600. They are animated, yet when selected. They don't animate when you open the open. Don't tell me that this expensive phone does not animate the wallpaper, where the cheap a** samsung does.
Please provide instruction if it can be, cause I can't figure it out.

How do I get the date to show?
:) Hi it's me again. I notice on my V600 (unlocked)w/(cingular service) that the date shows up under the provider name on different occasions. At times it shows up as
Cingular
GPRS
and at other times it shows up as
Cingular

How do I get that date to permanently stay?

Missing Options under Phone Status
I notice I am missing credit info/available & active line, under Phone Status. I'm not sure if there are any more missing options with the V600 (unlocked version) I keep hearing around about a flash firmware and I also here it's sort of buggy. Anyway ideas on how to get those missing options and is a flash firmware neccessary and is it safe?

No sorry. I havent' setup email on the phone. I don't think I will be doing that. The best thing to do is to post your concern around on this forum and other ones. There are people out there that do know. But you know you can always you the phone tools to transfer the pic to your PC and then go from there, but in those emergencies, when snapping a pic of a nice ...

Does anyone know what the Cingular browser settings are for the V600. I can't download ring tones. It keeps saying the network is not available. Cingular says the phone is not supported, other techs say it should download, Motorola says it is only an option for AT&T at the moment. Have any of you been able to hack this one?
