You laugh, yet Sprint and Clear have nothing to show for it, Nothing. Clear doesn't even offer service in their own area. Just because you pour money into something doesn't mean its going to work. Its about what customers want..and customers want real things not talk. Wimax at this point (3 years and going) is all talk. How many Sprint or Clear WiMax advertisements have you seen? I've seen none...cant really be that GREAT if they don't want to ...

Sprint and clearwire killed themselfs. I was a fan of Wimax when I first heard about, and Sprint and clearwire still have nothing to show for it! It took them way to long to get this going. Any hype has long been gone and very few people care (including myself) I hate to break it to you but Verizon HAS money...so they wont have a problem with building it up. Verizons 4g will pass Sprints as soon as they ...

Sprint was not named because they already paid them to use it. They own a license for it, noone else does. Everyone else thinks they can use it without payin up.

I might be wrong but if IPCS isnt going to offer wimax then what does clearwire have to do with anything. Wouldnt it be the same thing as Sprint just releasing WiMax and saying too bad now we are competeing with your evdo coverage? what does clearwire have to do with any of this .Clearwire or not its still the same outcome..wimax is out and they dont have it..so they cry.

you guys talk all the S*** you want but the mogul is a far better phone. I use both and find the tilt to be pretty much worthless. The keyboard has a lame broken feel to it the screen touch never responds unless i smash on the screen and the graphics drivers sucks so bad. I scroll thru internet and it takes 10 seconds to catch up. Perma broken videocard drivers.. NICE!. You can keep that junk.

We on phonescoop might of been aware if this, BUT normal business or people that watch tv dont know any better. The point to selling is to say you have it..Not let others say they have it and not speak up. I know verizon has Rev A because I have a data card that doubled in speed but if they dont say they have it how would anyone know they offer it ?

Noone here was asking if we could get Rev A speeds. we can tell by your post that you didnt read anything that was said. I just asked if the phones limit now was 128 because of the phone or the system, and if it was the system would we see faster speeds till Rev 0 was topD out. you should just try to delete your worthless post.

in the Article: EV-DO Revision A PC Card Announced forum

I was refering to the older Rev 0. All of us that have a 6700 or pc card ect...what kinda of upload speed can we expect from rev A. Do the phones now really cap out around 128kbps ? or is that only due to the tower not being able to go faster..and if so would we get more then 128 off the current phoneswhen rev A kicks in.

faster upload speed to EVDO now ?
Mar 22, 2006, 12:13 AM
in the Article: EV-DO Revision A PC Card Announced forum

Will Rev A free up some bandwidth so us older evdo users can get faster upload speed? 128 isnt terrible but would like to think the cards and phones we have now can do more then that..but its just not setup to go faster at the moment. Would love to see this work

I would think they would try to improve the photo quality before they raise the MP output. I would take a really high end 5mp photo then a 10mp thats just soso. Tho 10mp is HELLA big for rez ....lower the rez and just make the photos better. that would make us all happy

Yes on the WIFI question. dont need data service and speeds will be better. Only downside is unless U hack the phone from my understanding you cant use wifi and phone at same time so you would miss calls. As for data right now verizon doesnt support the 6700 as a modem. They might in the future ,but if they do it will be 44.99 for unlimited use on phone and 15.00 bucks for broadband connect..so its hella money.

the 6700 does support good tech I would guess. sprint's 6700 comes with good technology preloaded on the device..I wouldnt see it not working. As for exchange email...I know verizon has wireless sync PC monitor that runs in the background of your work computer and pushes email from your outlook to your phone ..but not sure how sprint would do it. Sprint v...Good tech on phone. Verizon v ..Wireless sync PC monitor. PS if sprints 6700 works with good tech ..verizon's would. ...

Ive looked thru the infomation and cant come up with a date...just a coming soon..which doesnt help a soul. Only thing new is people with the 7250BB , 9800 and 8100 LG can now use their phones as modems...just have to get a store rep to add the 15 or 30 dollar add on. It was meant for business customers but there is always a rep that dont have a clue and will add it to anyones account ...
