If you haven't seen it, watch it. Steve Jobs was indeed a tecnilogical genius, however, he was not a marketing genius or charismatic leader. Steve created Windows. He could not sell it. Bill Gates was the man with the big ideas and he made it the industry standard through brilliant marketing and salemanship. Apple was an option to Windows. People tired of the constant viruses and buggy half-@$$ed OSs heard about this small computer company, Apple. Steve was briliant ...

You might look at the Droid 3. All the specs of the X2, but with a 4" screen and a 5 row qwerty keyboard. I think Verizon has been good about not forcing the 4G issue. After all, they only have 3 of them out, Charge, Thunderbolt, and Revolution. X2, Droid 3, Incredible 2, Commando, and Xperia Play are all new 3G phones. The GS2 has good specs, but no better than the Bionic(which is 4G) and barely better ...

I don't know why this would happen. It wasn't the iPhone that caused VZW to go to limited data. 4G caused that. It only caused that to happen on AT&T because they did not anticipate the usage on their network. Their nework wasn't built out to handle it. Sprint doesn't have that many users.

Maybe, but an out dated iPhone isn't much different than it's predecessor or successor. iPhones haven't changed that much from gen to gen. Maybe from the first iPhone to iPhone 4, but not much from 1 to 2 or 3 to 4. I'm not a fan of Apple ot iPhone, but if I had a 4, I, too, would wait for 6.

I don't think that is what Andy was saying at all. He was stating that a group of cutomers want to be heard and instead of listening, AT&T sue them back. Not the best way to win friends and support. However, what Andy doesn't understand is that by suing them back is the only way to stop the case brought against them. AT&T can't just ignore it and hope it goes away. However, the mantra, "You can't make EVERYONE happy" ...

First of all, I do understand that there is that clause that will let them leave without paying the ETF, but the people protesting the merger cannot leave until the merger happens. I'm curious as to where you get the figure of 90% think it's a good thing. And there is no point to get insulting, btw.

I find it humorous that you think AT&T cares about it's customers. There is really no carrier that cares about their customers, but ALL of them fake it better than AT&T. Year after year they get the worst rating for customer service. Additionally, it's not that easy to "Just change service." ETFs, especially in today's economy, make that very difficult. And, people complain because they have expectations of the people they deal with. When they are not seeing those expectaions, ...

But, do you think that AT&T and VZW have arrived where they are by travelling such a completely different road than TMO and Sprint have had? Business succeed by their ability to adapt to trends, deversify, and pioneer. I just think of where Google was 10 years ago. AT&T had iPhone locked up for smartphones. The other carriers had nothing but Palm and RIM, which AT&T also did. This was where Google stepped forward with Android. Now Google is ...

While that is plausable, Do you not think that it is possible for Sprint to actually THRIVE in that new invironment do to being the only carrier with both unlimited data and enexpensive plans? I don not think that it will be lack of competition that will be the downfall of Sprint. I think that their desire to swim against the flow of LTE for so long, pouring money into losing ventures, catering to the lowest common denominator of ...

Seriously? Verizon doesn't make the phones. And as far as it being 3G, 4G won't be everywhere until 2013. Somepeople aren't concerned with 4G and don't want to pay $250+ for a phone. While I had hoped that since the Milestone 3 was 4G, I don't mind it being 3G. It will sell very well, and probably better than the Droid X2 since it offers all of the same things AND a physical keyboard.

While that is cool and easy, on an android, I can find free apps that let me download asmany mp3s as I want, set them as ringtones if I want and sync them with my iTunes if I want. I don't think the iPhone has anything to do with it. I do think that it has to do with the fact that VZW's new push is smartphones. They want everyone to convert from feature phones to smart phones, and in prep for that, why not off-load some network traffic onto wifi? AT&T has already been training their smartphone users to do that. Additionally, there will be a lot more data used on a 4G network than a 3G ...

I'm also curious as to which iPhones were activated. AT&T is still selling older models and selling them for less. There are a lot of incentives to stay with AT&T. More iPhone choices, lower iPhone prices, upgrade incentives. etc. I think that it is probably a unbalanced comparison. The better comparison would be how many NEW iPHONE 4 activations were on each carrier at the same time period. Then it would be a true decision of AT&T's iPhone 4 ...

For my market, The people dwindle in for iPhone, not jumping ship until they are out of contract. But even once getting to Verizon, they are not necessarily going to the iPhone. Android really doesn't have a pressence at AT&T. If you wanted a smartphone from them, you almost HAD to get an iPhone, but as they get to Verizon, they are seeing there is more they can do on android. There are still those who want nothing but ...

How did you make the jump from X2 to iPhone 4? I think most people that have an android phone would consider iPhone 4 a downgrad. I agree with Rich, if you have an X already, probably not much reason to move to the X2. However, if you have a feature phone, or an older android phone, and aren't in the market for a 4G phone, the X2 is an excellent choice.

Front camera is only useful in wifi or 4G which is why it is standard on the 4G phones. World capable is kinda cool. The exciting extra for me on the X2 is the Mirror Mode HDMi. Whatever is on your X2s screen is shown on your TV. Streaming movies, TV, or even games like Angry Birds.

Fine, respond to the post. Give your opinion to the original question. As I said, I don't have an opinion. If you have something worthwhile to input, please do. I have never rejected anyone's posts as long as they are pertanant and well put together. Again why I asked Azeron's opinion and not yours.
