Whats better?
As of right now my 7610 is doing ok but I cant wait to get a new phone. I was looking at the Nokia 3230 and it looks very nice with lots of great features but this 6682 will most likey come out in fall/winter and I dont want to wait that long for it. What phone do you guys think is better to have 7610 - 3230 - 6682??

I have the 7610 and it works fine. Very good camera and takes good videos. It works just like a 6620, so Get either a 6620 or a 7610. The 6820 has a small screen and bad camera, if you like that then buy a Sidekick II.

I am just wondering if you need a service provider on the phone to make the features work like mp3, camera, bluetooth, video recording, and FM radio? I'm saying if you can just buy the phone and use the features but not to call anybody.
I know for SIM card phones you need a SIM card that works to operate the phone, but not so sure about CDMA phones.

This is a very nice phone. If this does come out for T-mobile I will be gladly to sell or trade or give up my 7610 for this phone. In my opinion it has more and better features than the 7610.
Anybody know the price for this phone and what month it will be available. On the site it says 1st quarter of 2005, but you know Nokia, that means end of the year.? :lol:

what about a nokia 7610, i already have one but i want it to be offered by tMO so most of the features can work. right now i can only take pictures and use the mp3 player and talk. good reception.

i know, it works fine. but the reception is so-so, ill live through it.
the t-zones barely works, download features, aim, email, downloading themes. chat, presence also doesn't work.
the only things i can do basically is play Mp3's through Real Player , Camera/Video, video editing.
and all the real cool features that you can do, you need to be living in Europe/Asia and have a carrier over there.
and the t-Mo, NokiaUsa customer support cant help me with ...

exactly! t-mobile is good for there cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep phone plans. which means get whatever free phone with the activation. and buy all the really good phones because t-mobile never carries them and unlock and use it with t-mobile. because they really don't care if its unlocked or locked they even give you the code to unlock your t-mobile'd phone. which i do with basically all my phones because better if you buy it straight from nokia or moto etc., so ...

actually i think t-mobile will probaly get this phone because its not edge phone, it is a 1900 frequency mode which thats all t-mobile needs, they dont need 800,850, or 900 mhz it just needs a 1900 mhz. and because they will be getting most of the new nokia's like n-gage qd, 6010, 6610i, 3660. and the ugly moto v600. so there is a good chance it will come to t-mobile.

the phone will be released in Europe first during this or next month. but we in America will also receive it but later on probably 3 or maybe even 4 quarter. but i think it will be here by July or something around that month because this is also a very highly anticipated phone so it will be available here and in Europe.

well i was an ex metro pcs user.
i didn't like the service because in buildings and indoors i ALWAYS lost the service.
the plans are very good and inexpensive but the coverage and and service aren't that great.
the phones really suck, and they all die in about a couple of hours.
no wonder they call it metro piece of sh!t.
and thats why i switched to t-mobile and got me a nokia 6610 and an n-gage and so far I'm happy with ...
EDGE
when will t=mobile get edge service and phones. its been probably a year or 2 when EDGE was released but t-mobile still hasn't gone with the program. i hope by the end of this year they might get some kinda edge service and coverage nationwide. does anybody know of edge for t-mobile anytime soon.

yea i wanna know why t-mobile offers "new" old phones. like the nokia 3595, moto v66, Sony t610, nokia 3650, and last but not least the new old nokia 6600. why do they still offer these phones, isn't it time for them to get rid of them and get some NEW flip, camera, handheld phones. like some NEW Motorola's, nokia, samsungs. do you know any information about some new phones that t-mobile will have.

yea but even if it wont be sold by t-mobile you can still put a t-mo Sim card in there and it would work perfectly. and instead of the 6600 already out for t-mobile the 6620 looks better and has an mp3 player and 12 Mb internal memory. so don't buy the 6600 now wait this summer to buy the 6620.
