Re: HD calling
ok hater....lol
Just because AT&T is 3 year behind on that. I have had 800MHZ HD LTE voice since April 2013. Sounds like the person is standing right beside you. Never mind Sprint's 199 network awards this year and just announced yesterday 1st overall in Houston and Verizon dead and AT&T next to last. last overall by Rootmetrics
Re: HD calling
my bad that's 2013 not 2011
HD calling
I have had that with Sprint since April 2011 in backwoods TN
Re: how to unlock sprint mobile to universal
the original carrier has to send a signal to it, then its unlocked that simple but the device cannot have a lease, payment plan, or contract attached
Re: Padding Add a lines
comes with a free years service
Re: Wow...77 Whole Markets
It must be working, sprint has won network awards according to root metrics 38 cities in the last 14 months for overall performance
Re: I told you....
well they can go back and charge them the $150 per line deposit they would have otherwise had. Many times the dep is waived when this program is used
Re: Just FYI
I just used open world in the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, and The Turks, worked great and was on 3G all vacation with facebook and picture mail
Re: #gettingbettereveryday
think of us who worked in care there through it lol!
We may never pass the big 2 but hopefully soon we will hang with them. 16+ cities with awards down, many more to go!

Re: Decent Deal, but..
yea I work there, they have new 3GB/6GB/12GB plans do it automatically, if its in a family share plan it wont, the plans are the thing that adds the suspend code
Re: Decent Deal, but..
its an eye catcher no matter what carrier does it, all businesses do this stuff to get them in for other items too
Re: Decent Deal, but..
the tablets auto suspend they cant go over
Re: Oh boy!
in my best Vulcan voice:
Your logic is flawed, Tmobile has the worst network according to Rootmetrics:
http://recode.net/2015/02/09/ sprint-is-no-longer-the-worst-network-says-ro otmetrics-study/
They are also the cheapest or tied for cheapest at any point of the top 4. I recently put someone from ATT on a cut your bill in half plan 2 phones 10GB for $71.
Re: Cut Bill in Half
trade your prev carrier phone in, provide most recent bill. Sprint will match data and then take your normal bill amount and split it in half. You have to purchase your sprint devices with a lease or easy pay installments
Re: Good luck actually USING that much data on Sprint
dont know what you are on about. I use 9GB a month alone. my test speeds on OOKLA going from TN to Charleston SC 15.75, 9.99, 25.64, 20.80, 17.23
Haha I wonder why??? ~wink~

Re: We will make it!
crood call and find out when the 800MHZ is coming to your area. I got mine here also in TN and 3-4 more bars everywhere inside included
Re: Not Impressed.......
call Sprint ask them to use a special tool (I cannot name it since I work for them and its proprietary.) The tool will usually tell if you are getting the 800MHZ frequency within the next 3 months, that will cure your in home problems. I have driven from TN to FL and not lost connection at all, and 20MBS+ speed 80% of the trip.
Re: America's Newest Network = last to the party
or HD voice please link in your response to their website storey about it

Re: Where are you Verizon?
so did sprint and I think T Mobile
Re: Throttled All Customers Already
ok I have personally ran test in 5 cities in east tn, all over NC, eastern half of SC, north east and central FL. Nothing less than 10MB down.....occasianal slower but on average 10-15MB even 9 miles off the coast of Jacksonville FL
Re: Throttled All Customers Already
I have watched youtube videos in Chicago of sprint speeds on the street level over 20MB, thats not slow at all
Re: Not throttled, capped
I would go through 500MB in 500 seconds.....lol
Re: How about something useful...
granted they are behind due to cash issues and playing catch up, I travelled 600+ miles from TN to FL and had connectivity on LTE with no drops (Except small portion of GA in the middle of nowhere) and could pull 20+MBPS and never had a voice drop period....to me thats good, i have no issues in TN where I live either
Re: How about something useful...
they cover 250 mil pops and 800MHZ is in progress, I like the HD voice works great!
grammatical fail
"Saw didn't saw which markets might "
haha FTL
Re: It's rough working for Sprint
just closing losse ends and eliminating unneede positions and combining some parts of the business, things I think that needed to be done for some time
Re: It's rough working for Sprint
see above statement, Verizon closed 5 centers too
Re: sprint employees
i think its more about high costs centers going bye bye, sprint is still hiring
Re: sprint employees
no condolences to verizon centers, they shut 5 in the last weeks, just part of business, less calls inbound mean less jobs
part of the business cycle
nature of the business, Verizon is closing 5 centers also 8O
Re: Just being Sprint
TN, NC, SC, GA, FL along I95, I26, I40, LTE 20+MBPS and no drops, it was great all the way to jacksonville
Re: I can't get behind this guy
Do you all even know this guys past???? If he says it, it will happen. He is near God status in Japan for his wireless abilites and took an ailing last place provider, combined some companies and dominates Japans market. The same principle can work here, its all finance and economics for him. And yes he has a huge ego, just look at the house he bought in silicon valley :)
Re: PLEASE GOD NO
I hope it goes through......the new vision network can do GSM with a simple hotspot of a card in each basestation. The new chairman became number 1 in Japan by doing this very strategy
Re: Surprised and Clueless
Son is a rockstar in Japan, he has a history of combining companies and becoming number 1. That is why he is trying this here. Sprints new basestations can handle new network technologies with a swap of a hardware card.
Re: Surprised and Clueless
well said...well said
Re: You still suck here sprint
I see some El Paso 4G towers, they are in the midst of upgrades now. Sprint isnt having problems doing LTE...it just takes time and tuning. They are doing a 3-5 project in 18 months. Then have to do 800MHZ and spark. It takes a while to covert backhaul, zoing permits, building permits, contractors, weather. Verizon gets 2GB down in NY City...but you dont hear people complaining...talked with someone in tampa yesterday said they barely can get a AT&T ...
Re: LTE ???
call and ask, they now have access to dates towers are going to be converted...atleast within the month they will be converted to LTE
