somewhat agree, sprint has Ericsson do most of the work. Once the Japan deal goes through may see big network changes, even their CEO says verizons LTE speeds are unacceptably slow........

of course with a project like Network vision going on, Sprint's CS rating will fall as outages occur and network hiccups and people dont get it in their market first. The same thing will happen to other carriers making changes like that.

how do people say sprint is a mess? They are either 1st or 2nd in every study on network and customer service incl JD power. If thats a mess I hate to see what people think about AT&T who was last one CS and 2nd to last on network (dropepd calls)

also has alot to do with speed of obtaining permits, contracts, and right of ways to the sites. All sites period will be done in 2013 so everyone sprint covers will have LTE.

I am sorry to hear of your trouble, I am a sprint employee and understand the hesitation of letting go the iden PTT, many hate to see it go. Nextel has been losing customers and money do to the network limitations, by July there will be no nextel. Have you tried the Dura XT, we sell those like they are gold plated and very few returned. Remember those nextel towers you love will be redone into sprint towers so ...

must have been isolated incident having good customer service, they have ranked way behind others for a long time. Sprint beat verizon by 1 point last go around.

i think for a more advanced phone, you are going to have to get a touch pro or maybe touch pro II, sprint doesnt sell either any more, ebay craigslist, pawn shops ect.

as a rep for sprint, you can use any messaging or feature basic phone. The website will say there is a dat arequirement when looking at phones if it will not work on your plan. All smart phones have features that require data to function, visual voicemail, nav, gps, and some other features.

some corrections You cant have your fees waived because of Credit Union disc and then have employer disc of 17%. Both of those are called NVP discounts. The CU one carries 10%. 17% is nice so pay the act fee and then use the 17% you save more down the road than the $36 up front. Check sprint.com and our telesales they and see if there are any fee waive promos or port in credit promos, 866-789-8292.

This is nothing new, doesnt effect phones, just mobile hotspots, cards, and netbooks. Other carriers have the same deal at 5GB and so on.

they use month in advance billing because alot of people cacnel and dont pay the final bill. All service companies do this so you get charged remainder of your current cycle and credited the same amount of time for your old service and then a month in advance charge

last report out on dropped calls had Verizon/Sprint as 1st place tied. Tmobile was next and AT&T was last by a large margin. Sprint has a 14 day trial period. Sprnit has got a slew of network and customer service awards over the last 2 years.

your the moron, they have the 2nd highest rated network behind verizon, like pages of awards, AT&T has "0" awards adn last place for dropped calls and network call quality!

yea if you want sprint, they generally have school discounts, but you have to sign up a specific way, my bro in law goes to UCF also...lol Graphics stuff. Live in s altmonte springs. 2-3 MB is fine, streams fine downlods fast enough for what you use. If school requires streaming make sure to go unlimited, sprint has the 30 day garuntee where you pay nothing if you have to cancel in that 30 day period (minus any overage ...

Metro's newer networks in major cities use the 1700 MHz (AWS) frequency band, while original networks in regional areas use 1900 MHz (PCS) frequency band. The MetroPCS network was built from the ground up using CDMA technology. The 1700 is theirs or someone elses, the 1900 is sprint pcs I believe.

thats right, my fault thinking of someone else.....they are a good alternative but in the end subpar. Once again all major carriers do the billing the same way. You get what you pay for
