The only "enhancement" I can think of that moto could make to blur would be to enable me to REMOVE IT. That would help

Constitutional? When has a little thing like that mattered to the republi-crats since FDR? Just because the constitution doesn't grant the fed goverment to do something means nothing, I am sure there is a judge somewhere that will say it is okay. What's the problem?

Life has consequences. People who chose to walk, with their sensory organs preoccupied, oblivious to what goes on around them tend not to survive. That is totally their choice. I would rather have a world, where people are free to act as they please but are wholly responsible for their actions; rather than one where people make choices for me "for my own good". Life is not safe and it cannot be made safe by governement fiat.

Not sure I understand your reply. Specs appear to be GSM phone with AWS bands. That sounds like t-mobile.

Interesting....

I find it very interesting that Samsung had to come out and say that they are not charging. All of a sudden they care what we think? All the complaining at the lack of updates and it's wait and be patient, it's coming (or screw you pal your behold II ain't getting 2.1) but now all of a sudden they chime in with a "we are not charging". Interesting.

It appears that the rest of the civilized world has already gotten this update on their Galaxy. Just not America. Go figure that.

yeah saw the blur too. Thing probably needs two cores, one to actually run android and the other to offset the laggy buggy mess that blur is.

Too bad this thing has blur on it

Sigh, another moto blech. Seriously, would it kill moto to make their blue so that it can actually just be turned off so that those of us that like moto and their quality hardware didn't have to be punished with blur laggy software?

I hope t-mobile is getting this

An android phone with just android on it. No wiz or blur or sense. It is... refreshing. Who knew I would have to go to China to find one. To bad the so-called big manufacturers can't do the same rather than skin up their devices with things I don't want and cannot turn off.

I'm liking huawei more and more

Build quality continues to improve, specs continue to improve and they run stock android with no blur, wiz or sense. Hoping t-mobile picks this one up

in the Article: Hands-On: Motorola Atrix 4G forum

It is an interesting concept, and totally cool except for.... android 2.2? Seriously 2.2?? When 2.3 has already been out for at least a month or more. And with Moto's proven track record of updates (or should I say delayed updates or lack there of) why would you invest the kind of coin it would take to purchase this set up when it is releasing with an already out of date OS on a company whose updates ...

in the Article: Motorola and T-Mobile Deliver the Cliq 2 forum

Wow will the wonders at motorola never cease. My cliq 1 launched with android 1.5 and the promised update to 2.1 only took a year and came out last month -- of course 2.2 had been out for at least six months already. And I see that like cliq one launching with an outdated OS with blur, Cliq 2 will launch with an outdated OS with blur. 2.3 is already out, but this will launch with 2.2 and ...

in the Article: Motorola Acquires Zecter for Improved Motoblur Features forum

A strange move for a company that said that they weren't going to continue to focus on blur, or something to that effect. Of course I just read that the CLiq 2 is coming out with Blur. That is unfortunate, since blur on the cliq one ruined the phone. My impression of blur on my cliq was that it was buggy, lagged the phone horridly, and was impossible to turn off without rooting the device. The cliq was a ...

in the Samsung Nexus S forum

When I heard that samsung was making the next Nexus, I knew they would find a way to mess it up. No Sd Card???? Questionable 720p???? No HSPA +???? I suppose it could be worse, they could have WIZZED on the phone and put that touchWIZ on it. At this point, I think you would be far better off getting a G2. At least it is 4g, has 720p and an sd card reader. Guess I will wait now to see what dual core offerings ...

Wowie, Samsung FINALLY does an update and.... is it a new version of Android? no... does it fix the GPS? no..... does it remove the system choking bloatware touchwiz? no...... It's a new barbie accessory, a fashion toy, an Armani phone. May be they can release a Dolce Grabanna gold one next. The android version may be old, the gps doesn't work, but hey I look *really good*

It would seem you would have to explain that it is dead to quite a few people world wide. It would appear that it is used in quite a few places. Take a peek for yourself http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_deployed _WiMAX_networks Looks like it will be walking for a bit longer

Then we would never have service. Most of those windmills are seldom working. There always has to be reserve back up (coal or natural gas) to support these so 2 power systems must be built (Windmills to feel good, and coal/natural gas to actually provide electricity when the wind is not blowing, or the hydraulics break, etc.)

That wouldn't help, it is the towers they object to so simply adding some solar panels, which would take more physical space outside the towers would probably not help.

No that is proper punctuation in Chicago. The names of all stores are made plural. Like Dominicks, Jewels, Walmarts, Kmarts, etc. Don't be so insensitive to the Chicago guys.
