ok i got to know
tech support at call centers, how much training do they have to have with phones.
now don't get bent out of shape because there are great tech support folks out there, but usually when i call i ended up telling the tech what to do. the only reason i have to call is that they have access to computer software that i don't to get things accomplished. most of the time it seems they are reading a manual.

thanks for getting this info out to every body in a easy to understand format. one of my friends was going from alltel to att wireless so she could get a blackberry, luckily she just called to See what i was doing. in conversation she said she had to go by the alltel store to disconnect so she would be able to go to att tommorrow and get her new phone. i am glad she called because i saved ...

i just hooked up a v60p from verizon on my account, v60 with speaker phone sweet!!!!!
and i have a sanyo 5500 on alltel as well who cares about anything else.

moto figures that if you are plugging in the phone it is not on your person. so the phone will go to loud ring so that you can hear it same with if it is in your house some where you will be able to hear it as well.
how is it to work for sprint
i work for alltel now and was thinking of takeing a job with sprint as a in store sales rep. but the sprint store near me is actually owned by a company named airgate pcs. can some help spread some light on this for me. i average about 2g's commission with alltel a month can i expect the same with sprint.

they both have advantages and disadvantages.
gsm- sim card( easy to switch phones) as of right now a good consensus would say more hi tech phones.
cdma- good call quality, back system(analog)
its like a luxury sedan compared to the nicest truck on the market. the both have there place and they do different things. you just have to figure out whats right for you.

legally if i by a phone third party or off ebay i can do what i want with it. if i purchase the phone i can hack in to the programing and do what i wish. it is my phone and my software at that point. no different than if i buy a lexus and put a bmw engine in it my prerogative :wink:

doe's any one know the "brass tax" on hooking up a sprint phone on verizon are other carriers service. some sa :? y you can some say you cant which one is it and if yes how do you do it with the sanyo scp-5500.

i have a idea that would completely change the way cell phones are marketed in the u.s.

whats up with the slack phones
alltel once had all Motorola phones. know days theres a mix of l.g.,kyocera,etc...but the Motorola phones are awful. no camera, no bluetooth,speakerphone etc.. whats up with this, is cdma not the best technology then why does Motorola not develop better phones. even look at verizon v60p, c332????? what gives!alltel just resealed ptt service....kyocera??? i don't i will so i'll hold out till a motorola verision.
