Since you're so close to TMO's HQ that could explain why bandwidth is not as much of an issue for you as it might be for someone not from that area. Indeed specs don't matter if the product produces the experience you expect and need. In my case, HSPA 14 didn't produce. I was getting 200-512 kbps download speeds and 50-128ish upload speeds. The effect, well, Youtube was pretty much worthless. Uploading of pics, vids, etc. extremely slow. ...

Here's a link that helps describe the distinct differences between HSPA and HSPA+. According to this site and others I've read as well as forums affirm this. Also, if you take a look at T-Mobiles roadmap of recently released and future released phones, they ALL lack HSPA+ except Samsung. Manually turning 4G on or off just to keep the battery from dying so fast is a PITA. T-Mobiles 4G service is always on, ...

 I noticed a HUGE boost when I switched to a Samsung Galaxy S 4G HSPA+ 21 from a MyTouch 4G HSPA 14. HSPA+ > HSPA Sad to hear the Sensation won't have HSPA+ 21 support as 14.4 HSPA was way too slow to stream YouTube for my liking. I know some say HSPA 14 is fast enogh for them, but for me it's not even close. Guess it's just my area /shrug Seems like only Samsung is pushing out ...

There is no unlimited data option. 5 cents per MB after your data bucket expires. Better make sure you don't go over! :-)...
