Re: shoptalk survey
what is your one vending machine weakness? Pepsi how do you keep newbs from stealing your desk? My name's on my desk so no problem with people sitting there. My seat gets switched for another chair at least once a week though. when ps is dead how do you pass time between calls? Sprint space do the stains on the chairs scare you? Hadn't really noticed anything like that here have you ever had an inter-office romance? Learned my lesson the hard way ...
Re: I am so sick of this place.
A guy who sits on the team across from me got called that during one of his calls. Told his sup and she started steps to get that cust's account cancelled. Sprint won't put with things like that. Racist punk can go get his service someplace else.
but the mute button and I are great friends for that kind of thing.
Re: Word of the Day
Re: Here's a great idea!
So to put it bluntly, STOP DOING IT!!
Here's a great idea!
Hey store reps for Sprint, I'm kind of tired of having customers call in and ask why they have TEP or some other add on service on their bill and no idea how it got there, only to find out some rep in a store was shady and decided to boost their sales by adding it behind the customer's back, when all they did was stop in to pay a bill or ask a question. Adding to it, you try ...
Re: will his new job be being a clown?
No, he got a job he's really into, being a tutor for grade school kids and working in an after school program.
If you're a Sprint store rep, no customer care rep has the power or authority to waive an activation fee. It is a standard valid charge. There is no specific section in CC that can remove it. My advice to you is to deal with it then and there in the store and either ask your manager or call NSS to see if they can assist you with that? That is if NSS has the ability to?
My buddy dressed up like a clown today...
and got fired by the manager for, "disrupting the call center." He had put in his two weeks notice and Thursday would've been his last day. They gave him the next two days off with pay. Gonna miss you man! Hope the new job works out!
Re: I AM A CALL CENTER GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
You forgot, in those immortal words of Lewis Black, "I'M THE GREATEST MOTHER****ER HERE AND YOU SNIVELING ****S WOULD DIE WITHOUT ME!!"
Re: Bogus NPS Feedback
A cellphone is kind of a grey area for the Amish. They can't use landlines (at least not in their homes) because of the wire but a cellphone is okay, as long as it's used away from their homes. I've read too some AMish will keep a landline out in their fields for use too. The building for it kind of looks like an outhouse.
Re: Dude, meet deoderant. Deoderant, meet dude.
Can't go wrong with an anonymous note. Leave it on their desk after they've left to find the next day.
That's terrible! If something like that happens again, it's best to get him over to a sup. That way they can get him cancelled for talking to him like that. I know for our site, when a death threat is made, we immediately get them over to a so they can take the necessary steps to get the account cancelled and get in touch with the authorities to talk to the guy.
Re: To all Sprint Telesales agents..
If they go through phoneclaim.com, they can get free overnight shipping.
Re: FMLA vs. FML
Family Medical Leave Act. A law on the books if an employee needs to leave work for awhile to deal their's or a family members illness. You can get it for even minor things like if the job is completely stressing you out. They don't usually pay out for that sort of thing though while you're gone. They will though for major issues.
The Drama King/Queen
Me: Does this information help resolve your call today? Customer: No, you've totally ruined my day. All this over what the $10 premium dat charge is all about and feeling like the store didn't give him any info on it!
Re: U mad?
This is why I hang up on telesales now. I wait long to see if they're asking about a service credit or adding a line. If not, it's the release button.
Re: Not really the worst
Was he drunk? I had some guy call in with that answer a couple weeks ago. Then he started dropping the f-bomb when I kept asking him for the info. Release button's a good thing sometimes...
Re: EVO, ending a call....????? help
No, unfortunately, there's nothing. It's how the phone is designed.
Re: Hey Sprint and/or ACs agents
They might as well have. They added a new metric a few months back for next call prevention that's now fully in place and our bonus greatly hinges on keeping it above 95%. There's a guy on my team who kills at sales and his ncp will guarantee he won't see a dime of it. Sucks!
Re: Funny name.
A**** Patel. I had to say his first name as often as possible during the call. i had my coworkers cracking up during the call when I did.
I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried
I had a Juan Valdez call in today.
Re: Is it bad when....
All you really can do is, if you have full access to their account, note it fully so when they call in there's the info for the customer service rep to pass on.
TROPER! What's up?! Where are you at now?
Re: Can I ask why
Not 100% of the time. Why can't they just design a phone where you can remove the battery if it needs to, to force it down. Is that too much to ask? Why do I need to send in the whole phone when I'm just having a battery issue?
Re: Can I ask why
I might like it a bit more if they designed it so you could take the back off to remove the battery, in case you had to force-powercycle it down, if it needed it. That's about my only issue with it. I just couldn't bring myself to buy a phone where if there's a battery issue, I have to send the whole phone in for repair.
Re: Who else forgot about daylight savings time?
Don't worry. You can make up for it in the fall when the clocks get turned back, forget to set it and come to work an hour early.
Re: Just got told
I learned asl for a-hole by watching Mr. Holland's Opus. You make the ok sign but turn it on its side with the circle facing up and your middle to little finger facing left.
Re: Sprint Care reps activating Blackberries
Some of the older BB's, like the 8330, in CC's device search say don't do a manual program. I know we can do an RTN and wipe the phone and then try the programming over, which has always worked pretty well for me. Too bad it takes so long and really kills my handle time.
Re: Telesales Reps (Sprint)
There's a full number in our address book for ts sim cards.
Re: Dear Sprint Customer Care Reps
It's the one where they mention we can talk about the amount for the price plan but not how much a phone costs. It says not to give out info on what it runs at sprint.com but to get them to ts. It might have something to do with agents at some point possibly having given out wrong info? Or maybe they figured the website is strictly for self-service only and customers should find their own way over? In the ...
Re: Dear Sprint Customer Care Reps
We actually had a document come through in knowlagent where they said customer care wasn't supposed to give out info from the website on phone prices anymore even if asked. If a customer wanted info on a phone, it's straight over to ts for them.
Troper won't bag on it. He doesn't work for the call center and I haven't seen him post since he left.
Re: 4G iDen phone!
Not when Nextel runs on a 2g network and Sprint has no designs to upgrade.
Re: Worst name?
Yesterday, some guy calls in by the name of Leroy Brown. Today I had a Lil Jon. Couldn't make this stuff up if I tried.
Custy's who call in and announce during the call they are recording this call (usually telling me around the time I'm wrapping up the call). Immediately I tell them I didn't give them permission to tape the conversation. Some have tried to tell me they told me at the beginning of the call they were typing, which is a lie. They also like to use the excuse that Sprint records all their calls so why can't the customer record it and ...
Re: Worst name?
Had a guy call in earlier this week by the last name of Calk.
Re: The Bob-isodes
Do a search at the top of the page for Bob. It came up for me when I did it.
Re: unsupported content....
I got surveyed over this kind of thing last week. Guy calls with a Samsung Seek and wonders why he can't watch youtube? I told him why and there wasn't any troubleshooting we could offer him. I did tell him since he's in the first 30 days he could return it. He bought it from some 3rd party website. He gave me a no on the survey, btw
