And you're a real female?? Based on your wonderful converstational skills, I'm sure that you have an awesome boyfriend/spouse. I can't imagine any real person wanting to be in a relationship for any length of time with someone like yourself. Tell us...exactly how wide is your mobile home? Or do you still live with your parents?

I concur, The screen on the G2 isn't quite as vibrant as the ummmm....Vibrant. (Perhaps that's why they gave the phone it's name) Other than that..it's a hands down choice for the G2. I would not be suprised to see a variant of the Vibrant come out within the next few months that took advantage of a dual front end bus like the G2 as well as being HSPA + compatible. Until then..I can't think of another phone ...

Actually, this is an easy decision for me: G2 - running on HSPA+ (which will be faster than broadband in the next year). Vibrant - suck on 3g(although it will be a bit faster as HSPA+ is expanded, it will still be limited) G2 - Full keyboard Vibrant - all touch G2 - expanded front side bus which runs data much more quickly than the Vibrant I have worked for T-mo about 8 months now and although I currently have an HD2, I would trade ...

Interesting..that's exactly the type of response that I would expect from someone like yourself. Consider a position that doesn't require ANY interaction with people. On that matter..no interaction with animals as well (I'm pretty sure any animal other than an amoeba would be tempted to bite your hand off). Good luck in the rest of your anti-social, ignorant life.

Thanks, I've got it running stable now after a bit of work. I actually liked the old rom a bit more but hopefully there are advantages of running the new version. I only wish that I could get android to work without any bugs while using the stock windows rom. One of these day.

T-Mo does have data plans on their pre-paid now so this would fix your issue.

So...I feel your pain at times and I can empathise a bit. We all get frustrated with arrogant, demanding people and most of us vent on here a bit. Your attitude towards other reps criticisms lacks maturity but so does many of theirs. The world is a much more enjoyable place if you learn to develop a thicker skin and a sense of humor. My father once told me that if one person calls you a idiot, you can ...

New Rom??
Oct 22, 2010, 10:22 AM
in the HTC HD2 forum

Has anyone installed the new rom that T-mo put out within the past week or two?? I did the day before yesterday and....I wish I hadn't. The phone crashed several times within the first hour and now, my e-mail is not functioning(even though I've checked settings multiple times). I think that I'm going to end up spending a few hours to put a non-stock win rom and radio version on just so I can run android with no glitches. I really ...

You would think that international feature would be good here but in this case, the calls are coming from Canada to the US so at least with T-mo, it would still be considered roaming. The only way around it would be to have a wi-fi enabled phone and utilize skype or get a cheap pre-paid sim card plan.

Yep..I just got that today. Cust:I'm in Canada and my mom is on her deathbed and I just saw that you're charging my account for roaming charges. Me: Yes maam. Cust: Can you remove those since my mom is dying? Me: No maam, but the good news is that if she dies quickly..you won't incur too many roaming charges. In the meantime, I'd recommend that you minimize your phone calls..and....have a great day!!! bye bye

You're correct. I'm a retired E-7 and although it's not possible to reach that rank by the age of 21, my kids also have "dependant id's" that list my rank on them. So..there's a good chance that you may have turned away a legit customer. The cards are color coded: Green = active duty Brown = Dependant Blue = Retired

I was with Verizon for 15 years and finally left them for the same reasons that you mentioned. I ended up working for them and have been very pleased with the service that I've received for the most part. The pricing on plans tends to be about $30 less than I paid at VZ. I'm personnally not a big fan of the Nokia Mode but some people like it and you're correct that any wi-fi enabled phone will ...

So..it turned out to be more difficult than I hoped. After researching it looks as though I need to run sspl and install a new win mo rom along with the radio file. I really don't want to run a different rom on windows for a couple of reasons. So..do you have any idea if there is a version of android that will function with a phone that's running the stock rom from t-mobile? I've tried a couple with ...

Hi Cam, I shifted back to the stock upgraded wm rom after trying a couple others. The only thing that I haven't done is change out the radio and I'm thinking that might be the key to fixing this. I was a bit confused because the radio program that I downloaded from xda developers(and haven't yet installed) was in a format that I didn't recognize(not sure what the extension was at the moment) so I wasn't sure what I needed ...

So, I tried to install a newer version on android (darkstone Froyo) and it works ok except for the fact that phone calls sound robotic. Also, when I boot back to winmo, it tends to lock up now. Anyone have any thoughts on how to avoid the metallic robot sounds on android? One of the suggestions that I've heard is that I could try replacing the winmo system which I tried to no avail. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

I'm technically inclined and love to push buttons but when I got my HD2 a couple of months ago, I had to go through the full manual to get up and running and then I started delving into the web sites to find out all the nifty stuff that I could do that the manual doesn't explain(who'd have guessed that there was a way to run android on a win mo phone?) So.. I broke down, tracked down the miri rom and installed and then discovered that a bulk of the apps that I was used to including T-mobile backups and my account were not available and I couldn't get the phone to sync directly with my computer. So, with much hesitance, I went back to my stock rom :(

What I hate worse than the robot voice is when they spit out the numbers really fast and at the same time, they don't understand standard pauses. For example, a normal customer would read the card # this way xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx The horrible ones read it really fast this way xx-xxxx-xxxx-x-xx grrrrrrr And I still can't figure out why they keep it in the car but most who do have horrible credit so maybe there's a correlation.

I actually sell quite a few sim cards in the call center because dealers in the stores aren't able to get the cards for free. I'm not sure why anyone would tell a customer that the stores have free sim cards although I often have customers transferred to the call center from customer care who have been told that we can set up installment plans on phones( a big lie).
