does anyone know why text messaging doesn't always work with uscc ? I tried opening a google email account and found out that google sends you a text message with a code in order to open your account. Well...., uscc doesn't have google on their list of comanies that the accept text messages from....in fact, only certain companies are on the uscc list. why don't they accept all text messages.....? why.......?

Hey alejandro you're a stupid jerkoff! You don't know jack! You just want to sell phones to little old ladies who don't know squat. That way you don't have to worry about fullfilling all the empty promises your cell phone company makes. Your cell phone company's a rip off. Just ...

That's a good point. The electric company is trying to profit by selling the rights to something they don't have. They're allowed to use poeples' land for FREE for elecrical transmission only. The poor land owners are paying all kinds of taxes on the land and the electric company gets to use it for FREE! Now they're trying to profit from it on top of that! Can you imagine the potential for profit it the elecric company starts renting ...

It may seem frivilous but the point is that the electric company has the right to use peoples land for FREE so they can put up their electric towers. It's called a utility easement and there's nothing a property owner can do about it. That's all well and good but I don't think they should turn around and sell rights to Sprint or any other company and make money off something they get for free. This may not seem ...

Somebody's not telling the truth when they claim an entry level phone costs $180!! I use to buy brand new enrty level phones for 50 bucks a few years ago. Now all of a sudden they cost $180 !? What's up with that? The prices should be going down as time passes not up. Everything else is more expensive when it first comes out and then the price drops. TV's, computers, etc... Why do phone prices keep increasing? I'm ...

I also couldn't agree with you more mobilephonejunkie8. I have found that no matter what carrier store I walk into I will undoubtly know more about phones, plans, etc. than any sales person working there. I don't understand how you can work at a cell phone store and not know the phones, the plans, etc. inside and out! This is what you do 8 hours a day! You have to be in coma to be around this stuff all ...

I understand what you are saying and I agree to a point. But my intitial point was that if everyone was on the same network like they are in Europe, we consumers would be a lot better off. The fact that cell phone companies are not regulated enough means that consumers suffer and are left way behind in comparison to Europe. Over there they always get the newest phones first and they have a wider selection of phones to ...

The point I tried to make was that whoever you choose as your carrier, you become a slave to the type of service they give, the selection of phones they have, the coverage their system has, and they want you give up your right to switch due to your contract if your not happy with the service, etc. Anyway, most of the stuff in your last paragraph are the infrastructure I'm talking about. The more customers they get the ...

Listen, this country is run by the almighty dollar. Big business cannot rely on just service alone to get customers because everybody offers the same service. Yeah I know some services work better than others in different areas, blah, blah, blah, but the point is they just want to 'lock up' customers!(just like they use to lock up slaves in the old days). Even if you don't sign a contract and you pay full retail for the phone you ...

nWeb anyone?

Has anyone tried the nWeb application and if so what do think about it? How is the network speed? Too slow for surfing? The phone I currently have is not edge-enabled so I'm thinking of getting one with edge just for this purpose.

Just crious, what do you think of nWeb? Paricularly the speed? I'm thinking of getting an edge-enabled phone just for this purpose. I mostly want to access the web for checking my different email accounts and stuff like that. I'm sure nWeb is not for real 'heavy' surfing.

why no easyedge for Kyocera 7135 ??

I have the Kyocera 7135 PDA phone and I am very happy with it. I am also very happy with US Cellulars coverage(I used to have AT&T but the coverages sucked) Anyway, I don't understand why a $600 PDA phone with a nice big screen, web software, email software, etc. is not easyedge enabled. Am I missing something? Is there a way to access the web with my 7135 that I don't know about?
