Yes, I'm aware there are the tech nerds who live and breath iPhone rumors but that's not most of Verizons customer base. It isn't like they seek you out just to pick your brain for any iPhone related info. I'm sure I could find store reps to say the same things you said about Palm but about any and every other phone manufacturer. When you are biased against something you look at it with tainted eyes no matter how un-biased you may try to be. You hate Palm. It's that simple. Another rep in a another store may hate for the same reasons you despise Palm.

I have worked in the wireless industry since 2004.My opinions come from several years of experience as both a consumer and an employee. I have never had "repair" equipment, but I've have taken thousands of calls on Palm Products and find that overall, they aren't bad devices. Keep in mind that if your role was or is repair then you obviously are more likely to see the bad instead of the good. As with all brands of phones there ...

Wow, I disagree totally. The Pre Plus and Pixi Plus are NOT "colossal turds."
Palm's poor showing in the smart phone market is due to bad advertising. First there was the weird commercials when they first launched on sprint that nobody understood. Then there was the soccer Mom ads. Both horrible.
WebOS is amazing. There are not as many apps as is available through the Andriod store, just like the Andriod app store doesn't have as many apps as the app ...

Too many cards?
I sometimes get an error telling me I have too many cards open and that I should close a card before trying to open a new one. The thing is, I can't figure out how many I should be able to open at one time. I've had as many as 7 open before getting this message...and as few as two!
Anyone else having this problem? Any ideas on why I get this?

I have worked in the wireless industry for 6 years and when I received training for the webOS I liked it so much that I purchased the Pixi Plus, my first EVER smartphone. I never liked the OS in any other phone enough to want to pay for a smartphone plan until now.

If VZW gets the iPhone, never again would a customer service rep have the daunting task of trying to "save" a customer from canceling for the iPhone!
No more "I just want an iPhone." disconnects.
VZW's churn would drop dramatically and net customer adds would go through the roof! If VZW does release it before the end of the year it would make for a very happy February next year for VZW ...

I just bought my Palm Pixi Plus on April 17th and I LOVE it. I really couldn't be happier with my device. However I am concerned about the future of the Palm line of products. I know HP just bought Palm but I read somewhere that they mainly purchased Palm for the WebOS... So my question is what is this going to mean for the current Palm product owners? I LOVE the keyboard on my Pixi. I had a virtual keypad before and grew sooooo tired of the touchscrren for typing. IMHO, The virtual isn't as accurate or as fast.
