is the go plan good?? or prepaid plans? Are they reliable and such. I had an account with cingualr but they closed it for various reasons. I just dont want the hassle of having a credit check and everything that can come back on me.

LG1400 question
I now know that my LG1400 is a discontinued cell phone thru cingular, so I dont know what type of support, if any is available for it.
My question is, my dad has the razr flip, and when he got it, he erased the games and other stuff that a dad would'nt use on the phone to free up space for memory and such.

yeah, its getting ridicilous now. I just tried calling my friend, which I got thru on the 2nd try. But she couldnt hear me, and the counter didnt turn on. Then she called back, and the phone was open, and the receive button would not work. Its so fustrating, its funny. I need a drink.

I dont think its a loosewire problem, because now.................
I get the Channel Unavailable while Im in call, resulting to a dropped call, and have to wait 2 minutes until I can get the person back on.
and when I get a call, I have active flip turned on, the screen freezes after I hit receive because the flip didnt work, and either the number, or caller ID pic stays on the screen, then it goes dark, and pops back ...

i get the channel not available every now and then. I have a LG1400 phone (my screen name is from years ago). Im thinking about trying to get a new phone and seeing if that makes a difference.

this is what happens when I go to check my voice mail. I get the "channel unavailable" message on my phone. When I go to press 1 (voice mail button) i get "Number not assigned" sometimes, other times it will go thru. And finally when I do get thru, the greeting/connection is still choppy, and I get "the passcode you have entered is ...

Over the past couple weeks, while in a call, ive noticed a weird popping sound that happens thru out the call. Theres also a point where it sounds like the calls dropped, but its not. Kind of that silent silence. And the connection when im talking to people is very choppy. I have a LG1400 phone (dont mind my screen name) thats not even a year old. lg 1400 faceplate question
i just recieved a new faceplate for my phone, problem is theres no foam sticker that goes around the inside to keep the dust and whatnot off the screen, and also theres no cover for the camera, just a open hole with a sticky tab. do these comewith, or do I need to peel what came off the original. Or can I order from somewhere.

Cingular now in Richmond Va
went to the store today to get a new phone, unaware that its switched fully over to Cingular. 2nd day now. And of course there was a 4 to 8 hour wait in switching GSM phones over. And the usual bitching and complaining customers. (but only a certain kind tho).

last time I went to the suncom store to pay a bill, I was talking to the associate about the change, and she said that when the whole shabang is over that Cingular will not charge for roaming, or that roaming wont even be in the vocabulary, unless you up and travel to say, Istanbul or where ever, since Cingular coverage will be so big, (at that point, she did some kind of funny face and her eyes bulged ...

a buddy of mine was unloading some phones that he had and gave me his scp-8100. I was wondering if this phone could be used on another carrier (cingular/suncom) or is it just a sprint phone?

i know there will be coverage because of the whole SunCom/Cingular merger. Thats no problem, I just want to know WHEN. I mean, I could get the phone ship it to my parents house, get a contract if need be, then cancel it with in 48 hours, or whatever the law says now.

i put my zip in and it gives me nothing. just theres no service reported for the area. It just gives me a link to sumcons site. Im not on contract with Sumcon now, as my contract (1 year) ran up like 3 years ago and Im month to month. So I dont think that I would have top pay a early term. fee. Is that right??

RAZR for 289.99
new cingular plan offered on a website. Im with Sun Com. how long till I can get this deal. Ofcourse theres no Cingular here in the Richmond Market, but its available where my parents live, but thats 70 miles away.
How can I get this great deal now and use it with this forever taking merger.

i remember when suncom had it for 4.99 now they charge 10 every message, which averages out to be more money. paying 20 bucks is a hell of alot of money for unlimited text.

that seems different from all the times ive asked when I went to pay my bill. the associates behind the counter said that all suncom except those down south of virginia (The carolinas and such) are part of the takeover, and the "change" would start in november. So i was just wondering when my alpha tag would go from SunCom AT&T to cingular. (i know how to change it myself tho)

im in the richmond va area with and with suncom. My contract with them expired along time ago, and just go month to month and can cancel whenever. So does that mean that when Cingular takes over fully, Ill have to get a 1 or 2 year contract? sorry if im repeating myself, but the suncom and at&t websites offer only "PR" type info and no real answers.

What about SunCom
what will happen with SunCom. They are a member of the AT&T wireless family. They suck pretty hardcore, and the only reason that I use them is cuz of the Nokia Phones. I was thinking about going with sprint, cuz their phones are better and now with the number porting.
