Yep. It's the same with my Incredible. I have yet to drop a call with it. How many iPhone users can say that?

ok, now to bust you out...
I SAID
"I'd go with the iPhone because HSPA 7.2 is faster than Sprints "4G" network... it has been proven... and even PhoneScoop reviewed and said that HSPA 7.2 is faster."
SOMEONE REPLIED
"They're actually talking about T-MOBILE'S HSPA+ Network which is faster than Sprint's "4g" "
I SAID
"but they're BOTH HSPA 7.2, both GSM, same speed lol think about it"
Might wanna read that again...
I knew what you were talking about... after I went back and read ...

ACTUALLY we were talking about AT&T AND T-MOBILE... LEARN TO READ!
I did read.
I read the title and it reads, "Iphone 4 or HTC EVO 4G make your vote".
If there would have been something in the quote that you quoted stating that you were talking about AT&T and T-Mobile, I would have known that you were talking about something different.
Re: Bought the HTC EVO 3G...Switching back to iPhone 4
They're talking about the title.
I was actually thinking the same exact thing when I read the title "Bought the HTC EVO 3G...Switching back to iPhone 4".

The Evo is a CDMA phone because Sprint is a CDMA network.

I would absolutely love to see some links proving what you're saying.
You do realize that Apple approached Verizon ...

#1: iPhone 4 weighs less
#2: Glass screen built like helicopter and train windshield glass.
#3: Evo has larger screen, thus more inches to break if dropped or accidentally hit.
#4: iPhone app store has the most awesome games. Street Fighter 4, Civilization, Metal Slug, Splinter Cell. Beat that. Plus the graphics of the phone is going to kick the Evo's butt.
#5: My pick is the iPhone 4, I have tried the Droid by Verizon, Blackberry 9700 by AT&T, Palm Pre ...

Is the screen glass or plastic? Will it require a screen protector?
I would be willing to bet that it's glass. My Incredible is glass and the Incredible and Evo are, minus a few features and size wise, the same phone, made by the same company.
I have yet to see a capacitive touch screen that isn't glass.
I could be wrong, but I'm 99% sure it's glass.

By the review Sounds like it. No thanks Sprint.
The Shadow will kick this thing in the teeth!
What are you talking about?
The reviewer had nothing but great things to say about Sense. He even went as far as to say that "It's one of my favorite interface designs on any touch screen phone". And I agree. I've had Sense on my past 2 phones (HTC Touch Pro 2 and HTC Droid ...

On a side note, things are not looking good for the Windows Mobile line and I'm not expecting Windows Phone 7 (or whatever they're calling it this week) to be any better.
I recently switched from an Touch Pro 2 (Windows Mobile 6.5) to an HTC Driod Incredible (Android 2.1) and I couldn't be happier. I have no plans to look back either.
Re: Skype Lite = Fail!!1!
"Call all of your Skype contacts anytime by just using your wireless providers airtime minutes!!" What a joke....
Umm, I'm pretty sure Skype uses your data plan and NOT your airtime minutes.
Re: turning off wifi
I'm glad you got it straightened out.
I kind of figured that an app was the root of your problems.
Thanks for posting back and letting us know what the problem was. I'm sure it will help other people at some point.
Re: turning off wifi
The only thing I can think of is that you have an app that's keeping it active.
I turn mine on and off all the time and it stays where I put it.
What apps do you have installed?
Re: love this phone but the signal...
It's funny. There have been a few different people complaining about signal strength, but I have yet to have an issue with mine.
Dean2359, I've seen some of your posts on here and I do believe what you say because you don't act like some kid or fanboy so please don't think that I'm doubting you. It's just that, like I said, I have yet to have an issue with mine.
The only real issue that I have, so ...
Re: htc sense restarting with taskiller when on ignore list
I personally use "Advanced Task Killer" and haven't had a single issue with it.
It lets you select which apps to kill and which ones to keep alive.
It's a free download in the Marketplace.
Re: Storing Voicemail Password and Killer Apps Question
Awesome.
No problem.
Re: Storing Voicemail Password and Killer Apps Question
I believe that if you edit the *86 number that dials out to your voice mail you can.
I believe it's something like "*86,, your password". The commas are just for a short pause. You may have to use more or less for it to work properly.
As for app killers, I personally use "Advanced Task Killer". You can find it in the marketplace.
Re: Help
Oh, now I know what you're talking about. The smart dialer.
I don't think you can keep it from popping up by default, but I can't understand why you would want to.
It just provides a quick way to get to the number you want to call. Your 4 most recent calls are still visible from the top of the screen without minimizing the dialer.
It also goes away as soon as you start to scroll through your recent calls/contacts ...
Re: Help
I don't recall ever seeing a tip message.
When exactly are you seeing it?
Re: ringtones
There is no need to jump through hoops to get ring tones on a smart phone.
Just go to the Market place and download a program called "Ringdroid". It lets you take any mp3 on your phone or SD card and crop it down and save it as a ring tone.
And yes, sometimes these smart phones can make us all feel a little dumb. :)
Re: glass or plastic?
Yeah, I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure all capacitive screens are glass.
