Re: Motorola...
Idk if the droid is great hard ware it looks like it and got high rating but this is the same company that's screens would white out after a year.
Re: Is it me?
same with the droid it's case is metal and sturdy if you put the cliq side by side with the droid in 'your hands' you'll know.
What do you really think would happen?!
Everything has a balance
Business makes the world go round. when you think about it...why'd they tie the two together in the first place? Cuz the manufactuers wanted people to buy their phones....make a deal with providers. From there call centers and what not were made to FIX the phones and what not...if thousands of people were cut because they didn't have a use and responsibility was given to the manufactuer (more than now...) the price of the phone WILL ...

Re: No subsidies = bad thing
Ok....just a thought. If it's unfair..not liked...and just plain cruel....what happened to prepaid cheap phones and $1 a day? Verizon has a huge base with it....T-Mobile nearly eliminated theirs and Sprint/Nex have it. If you don't wanna pay it...don't. BC you better have a tracphone cuz I swear the way you talk is insane.
Re: We want subsidies, but no ETF's???
They do.....they don't tell you but the longer you're in a contract....the less your termination fees.
Re: No subsidies = bad thing
Honestly you can't tell why that was with the payment plan for 'Non contract' phones (which sounds like a contract to me) people could easily decide to get a $500 phone for 20 bucks a month. All they did was reword it where it sounds like it's not a contract. Not everyone loves month to month.
Re: No subsidies = bad thing
That's kind of why T-mobile offers lower rate plans if you pay retail price......
Re: Insurance?
I think GWG covers things like that....you pay upfront like a hundred or something but instead of getting a refurb. you get a new phone.
Re: FCC don't forget verizon and their FORCED $10 data requirements!!!
But they aren't requiring that you get the unlim texting plan. and not necessarily there are a couple texting phone s that don't require it adn what not
Re: Bye Bye Verizon!
Honestly...prices are getting to the point they're all about the same....it's gonna come down to coverage, brand, phones and label whores 'I'm an Apple or Droid'
Re: FCC don't forget verizon and their FORCED $10 data requirements!!!
Let's see when they get the bill. Same with data.....looking at the phones that the extra is on alot of them have multi media keyboards for texting. When you use that....chances are you will be using the internet (picture messaging, weather, emails, or rhapsody) Even just picture messaging you can see an overage of $20 on average....you just killed ten bucks. Not saying I agree....just with all the picture messaging and data overage I've seen with those phones....it works.
Re: Bye Bye Verizon!
Verizon's not gonna and hasn't had problems like AT&T had and Sprint's doing all this 4G stuff but really is their push to talk gonna work on that? They said they were gonna merge Nextel and Sprint towers ....that still didn't happen if they can't do that how are they going to jump to 4G and have the coverage to keep people connected to it? When Verizon finishes their 4G if it's similar technology there'd have to be some ...
Re: Bye Bye Verizon!
Yeah....sigh...AT&T has been having crazy things happen with their internet...not to mention their overload of people using internet cuz they didn't "think" people would take the unlimited part to heart. Find a service you love and stick with it.
