Re: Has anyone downloaded Documents to Go on their Q?
Sep 17, 2007, 1:25 PM
in the Motorola Q forum

I use documents to go...I've also used a version of mobile office on my Q. The biggest difference is that documents to go allows you to create new documents and the ver of mobile office i was using didn't.

Re: Is V3C a megapixel camera phone
Feb 23, 2007, 3:42 PM
in the Motorola RAZR V3c forum

LOL :D ........but, it does have a camera capable of taking pictures that are 1.3 megapixels...i don't use verizon so i don't have your problem, but "true" the v3c IS a megapixel camera phone.

Re: phone lose?
Feb 22, 2007, 9:22 AM

no...i've not noticed that on mine, i don't like that fact that when closed, you can push the flip from side to side, i do believe that is loose.

you can order the alltel version unlocked, however, you may not get verizon to program it for vcast, etc. or they may refuse to even activate it.

Re: charging question
Feb 22, 2007, 9:09 AM
in the Motorola KRZR K1m forum

Mine does the same thing...it's just a bug in the phone. i can plug the charger up and the outside screen will freeze, i can then open the phone, close it again, and it will work properly, i think there are some software issues w/the phone because i also have a problem w/ the camera sometimes saying "not available" when i try to use it and i have to "hard reset" my phone in order for it to work.

Re: Fat Verizon Phones
Jan 30, 2007, 8:41 PM
in the Motorola KRZR K1m forum

the phone is great, i am using it with another carrier and the phone is awesome...i don't really get where you think the k1m is a fat phone, it's really quite slim. when it comes to talk time on the phone, i only have to charge mine once every 2-3 days, which is about the same life of almost every phone out there. even gsm phones.

Re: Animations for wallpaper on Krzr?????
Jan 30, 2007, 8:35 PM
in the Motorola KRZR K1m forum

i've not seen any type of animated wallpaper on motos...you can use .gif images as wallpaper or screensaver, but if you set an animation as a wallpaper, it will show the image, but it will not be animated, if you set it as a screensaver, it will be animated....hope that helps.

Re: Listen to MP3s through bluetooth headset?
Oct 23, 2006, 7:33 AM
in the Nokia 6255i / 6256i forum

i have used the jabra bt250, bt800, cardo scala 500, and the motorola hs850, and all of them allow me to listen to the mp3 and video player through the headset...it doesn't support stereo though, so you'll be dissappointed if you go blow a bunch of money on one of the fancy bluetooth stereo headsets.

Well, I figure that since it's not the prettiest phone (like the razr for example) the typical customer is not as probable to buy it. Me? I care more about what's on the inside, and I LOVE my 6255i, but we all know that typical customers don't think that way.

If you have a name stored with those numbers, it will pop up the name of the person calling.

The weird thing is, though, that if you look at the success of Nextel, you will see more and more consumers using PTT as a cheaper way of communication. I know business' mainly use it, but I'm sure that the ratio has become a lot smaller in the past year when it comes to business or consumer.

Re: Finally!

I think it has something to do with PTT. If you notice, almost all of the PTT phones that are out have a lot of good features, but lack a camera...who knows??

Re: Bad for Moto, Great for Nokia, LG, Samsung

in the Article: EDGE Disappears From High End Motorolas forum

It makes absolutely no sense that Sony Ericsson, Nokia have EDGE working perfectly on their phones, and Samsung and LG are both getting ready to release phones with EDGE...then you have the "number 1 phone manufacturer" or so they say, Motorola, that can't even develop a chipset that utilizes EDGE without problems? That really gives me a bad impression. Nobody wants to pay Motorola's prices and get average features...it's crazy, their high-end phones have tons of features, ...

Re: HSDPA is to UMTS as EDGE is to GPRS

...And if Cingular did get a manufacturer to start making the phone technology just for them. You know that nobody would be able to afford the cost of the phones.

You have to have UMTS before you can have HSDPA...at least that's the way it's been explained to me...it's an add-on to UMTS...like EDGE is to GPRS.

I haven't had any problems yet, but the software seems to work great on mine. It's very fast and responsive, and so far, absolutely no quirks. The only thing I see is with the hinge, etc. I don't like phones that pop, crack, etc.

6255i Problems...maybe
Sep 6, 2005, 9:51 PM
in the Nokia 6255i / 6256i forum

I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with their 6255i...I bought one last week and I noticed when talking on it like 10 - 15 minutes, the phone gets very warm...I was trying to figure out if anyone else has had this problem. Also, I was wanted some opinions on how everyone feels about the sturdiness (if that's a word) of this phone...The hinge on mine, cracks, pops, etc. when folding it back.

I understand what you are saying...I have customers like that all the time, but the trick to it is not to be an a**hole, but to shower them with happiness, that makes them so much more angry, and there's absolutely nothin you are doing wrong, don't let them get the best of you, just grin, they'll HATE it!

First of all, they are not available yet, second, you can read the news brief, and then click on the "more info" link, and that will take you to engadget's website and you can see pix of all three heasets as well as read an article about their availability.

Re: Bluetooth question

I'm talking about powering the bluetooth automatically when powering the phone on. The way I do it is when I cut the phone on, the bluetooth power is still off, and I have to go through the menu to power the bluetooth on, what I am wanting to know is, is there a way to have the bluetooth power on when the phone powers on?
