Working for both TMo and VZW I can say that the people I hate to talk to the most on the phones are from 4 states: California, New York, New Jersey and Boston. I'll also thrown in the city of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia. The Cali's from the west coast believe they DESERVE something for nothing. They feel they're entitled to this or that...etc. The East Coast A$$holes want WHAT they want WHEN they want it because they ...

Guys/Gals, I'm a former VZW employee and have been out of the game for 2 years now. The tech has advanced and I don't have the knowledge base I used to. I need some help. I need a basic camera flip phone that can handle VZNav that has decent battery life. I'm a simple guy with simple needs. I currently have a Nokia Dark Knight phone if that helps with the kind of phone I am looking ...

I was taking a Sup call when I worked for TMo. This woman would not stop yelling at the top of her lungs. I asked for her to allow me to help her. No...she just wanted to rant and rave about how crappy we are and my service sucks and has for a while (yet she just signed a 2 year deal at that time and was with TMo for about 6 years). Finally, I told her after ...

A loooong time ago...I had a customer who wanted to cancel his service with TMobile and get his ETF waived because Germany (yes the country) didn't support the US in Iraq and Afghanistan in the war. This was the same douchebag who would only eat Freedom Fries.

Most famous person I talked on the phones with was Bryce Salvador of the NJ Devils NHL team (formerly STL Blues). I'm located in the STL so I was super excited. I told him I hope you keeps contributing to the Blues and takes them to the Stanley Cup next year. He said, "Thanks" and hung up. Nice guy! Problem with what I said...he was traded 2 weeks earlier from the Blues to the Devils and I forgot ...

I just wanted to thank the managers and higher ups who decided to close their St. Louis, Missouri call center. You forced me to free myself of working in customer care for a wireless company. I worked for TMo for almost 5 years and then another 1.5+ years for big VZ. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for forcing me to find a new line of work. I now work in online sporting goods. ...

      The Mobile Problem has been a huge thorn in the side of T-Mobile customer care reps for years!!! Someone should check Sue Nokes lattes and make sure she's not being slipped something that would cause her to make such a STUPID mistake. Those fools who cause so much churn for TMo should be forgotten and TMo should have dropped them years ago.

It wasn't for something stupid I did on purpose...it was a stupid rule. I was in training for T-Mobile. At the time it was 4 weeks in class training and 2 weeks being covered by assistant trainers. After 3.5 weeks the brakes on car go out. I called to work 2 hours before my shift started. My wife had the other car at her job and I didn't have a ride to pick it up. ...

I worked for TMo for a little over 4.5 years. I only left the company to move closer to my home town due to family issues. My time there was fabulous. I was a customer care rep for about 3 years and then promoted to Senior Rep (the position is like an assistant manager) for 1.5 years. As a rep I was a 2 time customer champion (top 1% in the nation) and got to ...

New Yorkers and Californians are similar creatures but they have one slight difference. New Yorkers know what they want when they want it because they KNOW they want it. Californians know what they want when they want it because they FEEL they want it. Everytime I talk to someone who lives on the coast I cringe! Because the problem they call in about (usually overages they feel are invalid or an oow fee for liquid damage even though they ...

I will say sometimes, sometimes not. As was said about customer care I will say about dealers. There are a lot of good ones who are legitimate and really care about the customer's well being. Then there are those who FRICKIN SUCK!!!! The ones who suck are really indirect dealers from the Mobile Problem...oops...I mean the Mobile Solution. They cause more voluntary churn than any other indirect dealer I know. For the most parts direct ...

I'd be happy to explain it to you. There is no limit to what phone you can choose from (unlike other carriers). But the pricing changes depending on what model of phone you choose. You can go from a RAZR to a SK or a RAZR to a Nokia or a RAZR to a Samsung...etc. The discounts are based on a few factors. 1. How long was your last contract? 2. Was your last upgrade a partial discount or ...

Without knowing the tax rate I can't give you a really good estimate. I have seen tax rates as little as 5% in oregon to as high as 23% in Tallahasee, FL. Based on those rates you would be between $52.50 and $61.50.

Yes we still (in some areas) have roaming agreements with Cingular. Where I don't know. btw...an ICM stands for interactive coverage map. The ICM is available under the personal coverage check at tmobile.com under coverage from the homepage. I don't have a full explanation of UMA but here is what I have heard. I am pretty sure it's pretty accurate. UMA is a technology that allows a cell phone to connect via a ...

At the same time it IS the customer's responsbility to keep track of their minutes to ensure they don't go over. No one is perfect, we all make mistakes and we can't go blaming one another. Part of the issue is the reps lack of action and part of the issue is the customer not taking responsbility for their usage patterns and watching that they didn't go over.

The biggest diff in alltell and tmobiles plan is that first off our plans are cheaper. Minimum price for a "my circle" plan from alltel is 59.99. Ours is 39.99. Also with us you get 5 numbers per LINE, My Circle, whether or not you have 1 line or 5 lines on a family time plan have a total of 10 numbers.

My Faves is not a feature that you can add on. It is a different rate plan. You can't add $10 to it to get myFaves. It has to be a plan change with a contract renewal. gotta get your facts straight before you start spouting off at the mouth!

Per T-Mobile's Terms and Conditions: We may terminate your Service or change your rate plan at any time, with notice, if we determine, in our sole discretion, that your use of the Service is excessive, unusually burdensome, or unprofitable to us. Okay... First off...you can get an individual plan like the 1500 min for 59.99 and you can add unlimited tmob2tmob for $6.99/mo. Because if you got a family time plan you would have to have 2 phones. You said your girlfriend has TMobile. If she is willing to merge your 2 lines together and she pay half and you pay half that would be pretty cheap as long as you don't go over the minutes. The 2k min ...

I know in past posts that I have ragged on our customers...and rightfully so at times. HOWEVER...I do everything in my power (within reason) to help the customer out. If a customer is a long standing customer and pays decent money into us and doesn't come with attitude on an escalated call to me I am more likely to offer something...maybe not what the customer completely wants...but something. If a customer always calls up complaining and escalating and asking for ...

Not all indirect dealers suck...The Mobile "Problem" is the worst

I guess most of my anger/frustration is leveled at those cheating sons of bitches at the mobile solution. I truly believe that they are the most crooked dealers in the WORLD! I know used car dealers with more honesty and integrity. They screw this company and I look forward to everytime that I file a voice ticket against them and do sales courtesy credits for them so that it takes away from their commission.

I have just used the new T-Mobile V3i. It has expandable memory space underneath the back cover (Micro SD), MP3 player, and 1.3 Megapixel camera. It is also Navy blue...looks really nice I would never own a "piece of motorola." Don't know when it will be launched but I was testing it out. :)

Re: changing plans
Jun 25, 2006, 2:33 AM

It depends on which version of the 600 min rate plan you are talking about. Both plans are 39.99 however the one WITH contract is 600 whenver, unl nts, unl wk, NW roaming and LD, Overage $.40/min. The NON-CONTRACT plan is the same except with no nts. They can be added for an additional 4.99/mo. Hope this helps! :D
