New Software for VGA1000/A620???

I've been seeing that an upgrade to the A620 should be released very shortly (I'm using WG09). Is it out yet? Does anyone know the name of the upgrade? TIA, Sedge

Bombardier, The A620/VGA 1000 is a: Samsung; b: a camera phone, and c: just a wee bit bigger than the A500. I myself upgraded to the A620 from a perfectly functioning A500 because of the camera AND the fact it seems to be about 50% faster when accessing Vision web services. I love it. Sedge

When the Samsung A-620/VGA 1000 was announced, the Phone Scoop page for the phone noted that the phone was capable of video capture (now more interesting that Sprint has launched the video service), but may or may not be enabled when the phone came out. Well, it was not enabled. But I wonder if it now can be. Any thoughts? Could a software upgrade be in the works that would 'turn on' the video camera? TIA Sedge

yup!!! we're here...swapped out the old name though for you usual handle...icsedge1. think Iowa City, Sedge, 1 (oldest of the Sedgwick boys). Alas, I now live in Jersey, but I still bleed the Black and Gold.
