i here ya.... that's why i can't live without the wifi calling..... but where i live, verizon's rural coverage is horrible and t-mo's is outstanding and now that they are getting some more spectrum from at&t, you'd think it will only get better and at a way lower price rate then verizon and at&t... oh yeah... and sprint too.... :D

not so fast my friend.... aka "scooter"..... i'm in the albuquerque market.... i have no idea about what the lte prospects are.... all i know is that t-mo has done a great job bolstering their hspa+ in our area..... i don't think i'm in the best market... i see others with way faster speeds in the mid 30's mbps in other markets such as seattle.... all i'm saying with this thread is that it sounds like the at&t customers ...

actually, i'm one of the lucky ones.... i have a grandfathered in totally unlimited plan.... i will say i've yet to even come close to using 5 gigs a month....

and i consider t-mo donuts with the cool sprinkles.... when coverage is not that great at my house... i just turn on the wifi and the cool wifi calling engages and i get great clear reception.... best part.... the calling and data are now free.... at work i keep on the wifi..... the sprinkles on my donuts are that.... first.... free data.... second... free calling... and my battery lasts for eternity.... not really.... but it last all day and ...

yeah, but that is now.... if you are still on at&t in 2014... you'll be lucky to get 4g speed that fast and if you do.... guaranteed you'll be pay 60 plus donuts a month.... and i'll have my cool SGS4 phone by then running on our sweet lte network provided by at&t and since t-mo has figured how to get sweet speed out of the 3g network to run at 4g speeds i am speculating that t-mo's ...

sorry at&t customers.... looks like this is a preemptive strike to warn you that YOUR prices are going up.... meanwhile i will enjoy my unlimited "4g" SGS2 on t-mo for 20 donuts a month and pay that same 20 donuts when lte is fired up with my shiny new SGS3 with lte.... and for those who respond by saying that it's really not "4g" ... i will take my mere average of 18.35 mps over your _____ any ...

ok then... depending on where you live..... criket, virgin, us cellular, boost, metro pcs, and there are a host of regional carries as well..... i myself left verizon for t-mobile... main reason was their coverage was not good in the area i work and t-mobiles was superior in this area... second reason were fees... verizon has a tendency to see who many fees they can pile on.... and their customer base just bends over and take it because they ...

seriously. how many of you who are complaining will actually doing something about? just leave and take your business to another carrier. it's that simple. if a corporation see's an exodus, they will do something about it. just don't keep giving to the evil red empire like sheep. get a backbone and let your money do the talking. that's all i have to say about that.

VZW is already starting to experience the woes AT&T had experienced. Funny thing is is that VZW has 2/3rds less IPhones activated since inception than AT&T. Kinda funny. And on top have that I believe that there have been two reported mass outages of there "4G" network already..... Just Makes Me Smile to see the Evil Empire Struggle and then try to be smug about it.

no 4g, no dual-core, and no gingerbread??!!?? for $200 on contract, that is a complete waste of money. maybe consider it if it cost less, but with last years technology at that price range..... EPIC FAIL!!

Am I missing something on the specs? I do not see HSPA+ ("4G")specs, memory card specs or Flash 10 support specs.

had the exact same problem. the reps told me that was normal and i should invest in more chargers. i turned it back in and am waiting for the bold 9780.
I wrote a review for this phone and plainly stated that it was an incredible phone but that does me no good if the battery is always on a charger. my experience yesterday before i turned it in.... phone was fully charged at 6 am and was completely ...
great review.... BUT
When using the WIFI for calling or internet or when using the voice turn by turn navigation (Which is way cool cause it's free), you can literally watch the battery drain. That was my experience in the two days i owned one. Took it back and am waiting until the release of the the bold 9780.

That is actually Verizon spokesperson Brenda Raney and the Motorola Droid apart from Verizon Wireless Does have the feature and the ability - it has been "crippled" by Verizon like they do with all their phones.

That really sucks!!! So much for switching to the iphone. verizon did that to my storm2. I did try bing, but it really is inaccurate. bottom line.... it sucks!!!!!

you have completely missed the point!! we all know we can bookmark any search page. The point is that our Blackberry's have been changed with a product that is inferior and choice was ripped out of our hands. It would have been okay if "bing" was added to the list of choices, but instead is now the only and default choice.
