seriously though
its pretty big, but the EVO is big too and i dont have a hard time using it, but hey i use BT to talk so it doesnt bother me much. Plus the screen is a great size for watchin videos and movies and such (a kickstand like the EVO would be nice)
and i thought bout getting the aria but this my change my mind but i gotta see how their touch screen is bc ive NEVER ...

if there actually was a phone on the market with full flash support but there isn't.
doesnt the n900 have full flash support right out of the box
and just a lil add on about this whole apple/flash debate. In a society thats heavily going to the social networking world and a society who loves convienience and a society in which the iphone is popular among the masses, it would make sense to incorporate flash in an iphone/ipad because ...
Re: HA!
symbian is a pretty good OS out of all of the ones I've used (apple, wm, android etc) and its especially good on the smart phone side i.e. s60
plus 455 is not bad for a band new unsubsidized phone from nokia (hell my n97 was around 600 when it came out)
Re: Distracted Driving
lol it keeps you awake and alert
Re: Distracted Driving
granted after the fact but i was more referring to being pulled over bc a cop believes u were textin. Even if u werent textin its a big hassle to go through being pulled over and everything and it wont be possible to pull records for texting during a traffic stop without a warrant which is a hassle just for a traffic ticket. Thats more for after an accident which texting is suspected
Re: Distracted Driving
I agree wit u Azeron, plus how are they going to actually prove that you were texting, there are lots of other things that u can do wit your phone when the phone is in your hand other than texting (i.e. dialing a number, going through phone book, using it as your mp3 player) so its a "good idea" thats not well thought out. Plus there are 1000's of distractions that can come during driving that they dont even ...
Re: Wasnt this
yeah doesnt she have some wierd genetic disease where she has a long thumb or somethin
Well its good to see
a real replacement (non-keyboard) LG replacement for the Vu and its mobitv capabilities. also the s-class interface is different but user friendly and highly customizable similiar the cube on the behold 2. we will see how at&t locks it up and what impact it will have. but overal i may have to add this one to the collection
Re: So who actually has one?
the newest firmware that came out in the past month or so has that feature along with kinetic scrolling which is great
Re: Go AT&T!!
everything works perfectly, i havent had any problems with any unlocked phones before execept when i had an unlocked tp2 from vz using it on at&t and the mms never worked but it could have been an issue with the rom that it was flashed wit
Re: Go AT&T!!
yeah I've used a mytouch which is basically a hero w/o the sense and i enjoyed it
Re: Moto Backflip looks like
well on JB iphones there are customization, true not out of the box but its still possible. and there are multitasking on iphone once it is JB and with few apps (actually kinda fun on the iphones i've had) so in a way android (google) out of the gate did iphone OS (apple) should of when it first came out so android 1.5 and its previous incarnations could be likend to the 3g iphone in its capabilities in a ...
Re: Go AT&T!!
ill be first in line to put money directly in your pocket
Re: So
how bout this one
Press Call + 3 + * simultaneously during the bootup phase, forces the N95 to do a complete wipe of internal memory.
This will reset the phone back to 100% standard factory configuration.
Be warned: backup any important data before attempting this with your phone
Re: So
here's some options
*#7370#(lock code default is 12345 or 00000)
*#7780#
Turn off your phone, then turn it back.
While its turning press and hold the following buttons:
Call, 3, *
Re: So
i used the n95 before and didnt have problems with the opera mini and im using the default browswer right now and its not to bad, maybe because of the 3.5G, who knows, i've updated it to the latest firmware which added the kinetic scrolling and a few other things but now my ovi store wont load :? go figure. I believe the ACER Liquid will be comming to AT&T and the snapdragon looks great and fast, but ...
Re: Moto Backflip looks like
you can say the same thing as the cliq or any andriod phone with a keyboard. google went a long way in shadowing/incorporating the iphone OS into android so there will be ovious similiarities. and crood is right there really isnt alot you can do with a touch screen phone in terms of design, motorola is trying to think outside the box which may be good or bad depending on how its percieved
Re: So
I've worked for an at&t reseller and so for cost reason's i got at&t service ($20 a mo bill for unlimited txt/internet and 5k minutes cant be beat) but in no way am i loyal to any carrier over the other, heck i've had sprint twice t-mob twice (even when it was still voicestream)and now at&t. No service provider is perfect and right now im not under contract because i use my own n97 so when i comment its ...
Re: I agree!
its possible because i do belive there is a gsm version of it in Europe, but im not sure because AT&T always have Luke Wilson make fun of it in the "anti-maps" commercial saying that its not a "cool smart phone"
Re: So
well the same thing happened with the iphone, then people got smart and learned how to unlock it and used it with T-mob, but... i dont see the masses flocking to AT&T just for the backflip
Re: carrier?
more than likey AT&T would get it (probably the original liquid over the liquid "e")
Wasnt this
the same phone in the megan fox superbowl add... mmmmm megan fox somewhat overrated but hey i wont turn her down :-)...
Re: android?
it is, its kinda like a jailbroken iphone somewhat (and ive used both also)
Re: Doesnt this look like
i can see that to
Re: android?
well look how much windows mobile devices are out there and they have been thriving for years, android is just trying to give the market the options that window's mobile does with their variety of options. And variety is the spice of life :) And andriod is a great OS thats well on its way especially with the 2.0 update and the next ones comming out
Doesnt this look like
the quickfire that AT&T had, and we know how much problems they had. Granted that it wasnt made by motorola but it does have a similiar form factor
Correct me if I'm wrong but...
This whole "legal" battle between AT&T and VZ its kinda like if McDonald's went after Burger King for their double cheese burger adds comparing the size of their double cheese burgers to McD's double cheese burgers :-)... or even if Microsoft  went after Apple  for the PC VS MAC commercials. Those companies dont have time for all that when they are just standing on their own two feet just fine. Shouldn't AT&T do the ...
Re: SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME SO I DONT HAVE TO RETURN MY ERIS
Im using the mytouch and the face book app from the market does leave some great features out that would make it even better (i.e. facebook app/panel for xperia x-1) so ya you have to connect to the actual website to really get anything done outside of the recent status updates of your friends
Re: AT&T lost
yeah that doesnt make sense, well hey its the US government you know they want their hands in EVERYTHING lol
Re: AT&T lost
so it would more thank likely be for t-mob since AT&T isnt part of the open handset alliance or could be just an unlocked one straight from the manufacturer
Re: Take that nuviphone!
Take that foldy maps lol
Re: Iphone CDMA
I guess they are trying to back that up with its "Map vs App" adds
Re: AT&T lost
you do have a point on android limiting to one carrier. i believe the iphone is the only true "os" thats limited to one carrier, (even though the os and the hardware are ran under the same exclusivity contract). It doesnt make alot of sense why as a company you would want to have your OS be limited to one provider or even 1 handset manufacturer
Re: AT&T lost
but it does have gsm capbilities and can run off a gsm network so as I was saying they can be getting a gsm version of it also to be used the same way as the storm is being used. And yes I know vz doesnt operate on the GSM network
Re: AT&T lost
the storm is a gsm phone
Re: AT&T lost
Well since VZ does have both, it could very well be that they are getting the gsm version also
Iphone CDMA
If the Iphone was orginally CDMA only, would people still have the same problems for the Iphone not being a global phone as they are having with the Droid not being a global phone.
Plus it does suck that there are no GSM radio's bc I would have picked up an unlocked version
