I have issue with warranty reps trnsfering customers to us, and not explaining to the customer WHY they are being transfered. It drives my AHT higher when I have to troubleshoot the issue all over again.

The VAST majority of AT&T's customers are average cell phone users, and they rarely complain because they live & stay in AT&T coverage areas. I am a US Cellular customer, I have less coverage then VZW & AT&T, but USCC provided me with EVERYTHING I need in the central states. Same is true with all carriers. So that argument does not hold well. Its the data & Business customers that the battle is for.

You mean the only phone they want, the iphone. Outside of that, AT&T has smartphones that are, at best, substandard, and their standard phones are not any better then the ones carried by VZW.

Is it a lie? hardly, just a half truth. VZW has more coverage across the US then AT&T, and the maps reflect this, and it is known that in many rural areas you will get no service with AT&T, but have enough signal with VZW to make & receive calls, as well as acess the web.

Are you the advertising department for Verizon wireless? do you know for a fact what the intent was?
You are speaking as an outsider and basing your information on how YOU interpret the intent ...
Facts aside, this is still a baseless lawsuit, the idea in advertising is to make yourselves more appealing then your competitor ...they did just that.

Ok can you verify, since you are SO behind this statement, that this is true in all of AT&T's coverage area? Remember that AT&T has had bandwidth issues with all the data use in markets that are not 3G. so if those reports are correct, then due to network issues, which we know they are there, this ...

You work the legal system like Nebraska's Offense, always shooting yourself in the foot .... I don't like either VZW or AT&T, but I have to side with VZW on this one. regardless of who's 3G is "faster" in lab tests, EVDO is more consistent, and is in more places.
This is so dumb of a move, even Sprint wouldn't pull it.

As stated by someone else here, Sprint is one of the few Wireless companies that doesn't have a Parent company with a large profit. Verizon Wireless has Vodafone & Verizon land line, T-mobile has their overseas parent, AT&T has their land line parent, US Cellular is Privately owned, the others such as Cricket & MetroPCS I don't know the details of, however they are profitable enough to maintain what they have....
