Cingular couldn't and wouldn't run T-Mobile in the ground, remember T-Mobile is a haven for those who have bad credit, T-Mobile will be around for a long time, ATTWS was supposed to have NYC-Metro covered completely by July, but I doubt it'll as fully operational as T-Mobile's service at that time.

Let me begin by saying I'm a former employee of ATT, a T-Mobile customer, and a former ATTWS stockholder. At this point, I'm pretty unbiased. I was on the investment analyst conferance call with the CEOs of Bellsouth and ATTWS yesterday, actually, you should see the joint network layout, the only piece of the US not covered by the GSm network are the tops of the rocky mountain! 8O Seriously! I've been told that it's back to 19.99 with 1000 minutes for mobile to mobile.... Damn, there goes the sales spike.

as of yesterday cingular notified me, a cing dealer, that due to technogy problems with LG phone using Nortell technologies are no longer to be sold to customers, they wouldnt elaborate on the technical glitches of the problem. Anyone hear of this?
