Renting spectrum from Harbinger Capital, which they are negotiations of doing, is a heck of alot cheaper than deploying their own 4g network from scratch.

I have to agree. Going full touchscreen takes away any reasoning of going with a blackberry. I'm thinking they will have better luck and appeal to the avid users with the hybrid rather than the full touchscreen.

I wouldnt doubt a possible play by Vodafone. Verizon Communications has been toying with the idea of possibly purchasing their stake in VZW. This would be a perfect time to take them up on the offer and for Vodafone to own a 100% stake and presence in the US market.

I have an unlocked ATT Wireless Treo 600 and Cingular service. I need to figure out what I need to do to access Cingular's wireless internet with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Very bad idea!!! Right now customers dont care paying the difference between 1 or 2 yr agreements so they wont ever consider a 3 yr agreement. What incentives or than a discounted price on equipment can you offer to make customers want to sign a 3 yr agreement?

VZW will be charging a $15 activation fee on 2 yr plans starting in 2 weeks. Also there was an ERoes error that caused the $15 charge to show up earlier than was supposed to. That charge will not appear on any of those bills. I am also in the west area as well and Biggs, if you need any info to substantiate what I just said, check your alerts and info manager.

That is true you will get the same mail rebates. But the way the new every two works is that; lets say the phone is 99.99 and has a 50.00 mail in rebate, your new every two will cover 49.99 and your out of pocket will be 50.00 and after the mail in rebate your cost will be zero (except sales tax)

That is true, its only on the internet. VZW is trying to move toward more of an internet friendly solution rather than calling customer care. But the phone is not only for new customers, you can upgrade to that phone as well. Bottom line is though, only through the wesite.

That is incorrect. An esn change does not change your date at all. If that was the case then why would we give customers the option to do it on the website?
