Get your facts straight. Sprint has been gaining since Q3 of 09 not alot but a few 100k customers. They only have 53 mil so losing 15mil a Q aint even close. Sprints network is by far the most stable for smart phones. At&t has the most towers by far. 1.39:1 at&t:verizon. Sprint has 85% the coverage that vzw has. Vzw also has the worst customer service followed by tmo at&t takes second and sprint is first. note ...

Apple bangs at&t severely for every data and txt package that after network upgrades at&t is losing money on EVERY IPHONE. I used to cell sprint/att/tmo and now selling verizon but I must set you straight. As of march 31, 2010 the smart phone industry is as follows Black Berry 42% Iphone 28% Palm 8% Andriod 6% Windows Mobile 5% 11% other(off brand operating systems)

well for me. Curently i've had sprint since the new CEO took over and have been at radio shack for 2 years. We are a 100+ phone a month store with 69% Sprint 28% At&t and 3% Tmobile. I am however starting with VZW(private franchise) on saturday and in the next year or 2 it will be difficult to sell against sprint. This is true. Granted the staff that works with me are experience sales people who are very good at what we do. However that being said i can and will be making more with at&t/verizon. Base pay of a store manager is 28 a year. Thats also 54+ hours a week. Full time verizon sales people especially in my area if your good can bring in 60-70k a year.

The core stores around the pittsburgh area are full of prics. at my store we rly hook ppl up with great deals cuz we dont get paid differently on phones and stuff. that being said we dont pressure ppl into top end androids rather then free blackberrys and stuff. i did hear that alot of radio shacks do suck tho but not ours.

I gotta correct you on something. Verizon will not be getting the Iphone come 2011. Yes the exclusive contract ends but here are 3 reasons. 1.) Data plan costs 30 dollars a month right? Apple gets half of that. Apples proposal to verizon last month was that they want 30 a month for each phone via data. That would raise Verizon's data plan for it to atleast 45 a month, making at&t more desirable. 2.) Every ...

This is obviously a problem but occurs much less then you think, maybe 5% of the time. I personally pay the NONcontract price which Ill tell you is the price the CARRIER pays PLUS the ETF. Something interesting I learned today. Sprint did in the postpaid department come out ahead(not by much) like 45,000 customers. Verizon Lost nearly 9 million customers and gained 13 million or so in 2009. Its due to 2 things. Customer service and billing fraud caused alot of customers to leave. However their great advertising and goodwill(name) generated much more then they loss. I gotta give them credit on this one. They are amazing at advertising ...

They do not want people canceling is the problem, seeing about 700,000 people lost this year alone. Verizon used to be dominant especially in my area. no contract price is way above retail price usually 50-100% more infact. The point was the no contract price of the bb curve 8330 is 619.99 for verizon. It costs my retailer 322 for the phone. Verizon's store with the bogo loses about 200 on the contract handset price. But that is easily made up in 4-6 months. So after 6 months verizon makes up the cost of the handset.
