Well prepaid & postpaid is perfect for people who doesnt have a stable income (or doesnt want a contract)& for those income wont go unstable like million years later or gets paid constantly (or have good income) are always those who can go to a contract. This is how I see it.

Well , this model supports bluetooth stereo headsets, the previous one didnt support it & music recognition and ringtone creator. I think some slight changes with the "music player with customizable equalizer". Those are the improvements. This is similar with Instinct & Instinct S30, only few & slight changes.
Mr Hesse is not affected because.......
Its because he is getting more cash flow from Boost & Virgin(I dont if he getting something from them), so its the reason that you dont see him affected.
Also all the Sprint customers who are going Prepaid, they are all going over them so ,technically , in Hesse terms, he is not losing customers.
About the tethering thing...
I suppose they refer to this:
Some sprint customers are able to tether without a PAM plan, I've heard from a guy that has the Instinct (PAM plan not compatible) & he was able to tether.
Probably what Sprint its telling us is that in phones that are tethering without a PAM plan or non PAM plan compatible that are tethering will no longer do it.

Youre right the iPod touch is the best :) .....wait! 8O ......are you talking about the iphone or the iPod touch? /;| :? well, there's no difference, both of them are not suited to be called smartphones, the iphone its just an iPod trying to be a phone, when it really its not a phone, will the Madtv video of the iPhone.

Outside of the rant of the Droid, Hero, MyTouch, Moment & others, the Android OS its the little brother of the Symbian OS. Because since you can add unsigned apps without hacking like in the iphone Mac OS makes it a good choice.
What I have to say that every OS have theyre upbeats & downbeats, so it depends on your needs what's better for you, there's no perfect OS.

Well I guess I went to far saying "duh!" but my experience and also some research tells me that this goes to Nextel, because other iDEN models models that first says that nobody announced for nobody than a few days later is confirmed, so I think that this phone is heading for Nextel
