i contacted number 2 in the company, i doubt this is being resolved, already had a confrontation with the employee over the issue and he believes his ass is covered because hes been reassured by our boss that this isnt an issue.

so i work for an indirect at a new location. my previous location was shut down due to lack of sales. the issue with the old store was traffic, in our area (5 mile radius) we had 10 other competing indirects and 2 corporate locations. market saturation was incredibly horrible. i was given the opportunity to transfer before they closed. at the new location i am competing with a fellow employee for the managers position. he has been selling ...

we have the same policy, if the device leaves the account within six months they either need to return the equipment or be assessed the remainder of the full retail amount. i have never run into a customer actually being billed for it though

well i had to focus on a feature he was comfortable with. He didn't realize how responsive the newer touch screens are, he assumed it was better than the saga, but not the light years ahead it really was in comparison. He probably wont admit he doesn't use it now, but I'm pretty sure he doesn't :D

I completly agree, it would be nice to offer something different. The winmo crowd, as small as it is, can be very demanding. I know this from personal experience, it took me a month to sell my father an android device, he had a death grip on his samsung saga!

wasnt 4g supposed to be cheaper than 3g?
Mar 4, 2011, 12:41 PM
in the Verizon forum

I am just kind of curious, with everything I've read about 4g lte, isn't it supposed to be cheaper to operate in the long run for the network operators? Verizon is going to tiered prices soon, what do you think is a reasonable price scale? i think 5 dollars a gigabyte would be a reasonable tier, regardless of device (hotspot, phone, usb modem). Unlimited would be nice for $30 on 4g but thats not realistic from what Verizon has ...

i think it was more about sprint hyping up this announcement that was supposed to be such a big deal, and its a different concept, but as much as sprint touts "its" 4g network, why would they release such a flagship device for their 3g network? if this device showed up in my shipment as something vzw wants me to sell, i would have said wtf, kyocera? 2 screens? no 4g? thats a cute little gimmick, but my customers ...

so thats it?
Feb 7, 2011, 6:41 PM

did sprint announce any thing else or is that it? its an interesting concept, but I'm not sure how it would hold up, it seems like with phones, the less moving parts the lower the risk for breakage. hope it was worth bringing in a magician.

yea i was thinking that, why should a larger carrier allow a smaller one to roam off of them, so the larger carriers customers can roam in a small area, it would seem like the larger carrier would lose money on this, because the smaller carriers customers would have access to their network and the smaller carrier would then begin using the roaming agreement with the larger carrier as a selling point. I understand roaming agreements in areas where ...

just got our in, for the price, not im pressed, if it was priced midrange i believe it would do better, but in its price class you have the droid x, droid pro, droid 2 global and fascinate, what advantage do i gain by going with a skinnier screen and a ticker at the bottom, just playing with our models were confusing enough

really no wifi? the first model had it, i coulda sworn the one our palm rep was showing us had wifi support, this was for vzw, i kinda liked it but its not for me. it was pretty snappy, the 1 ghz processor really helped reduce lag, I'm just hoping the battery wont be a joke, the first palm pre had ok battery and everything about this phone form wise is the exact same, keyboard screen etc etc, but ...

please show me what reports say sprints network is just as large and reliable as verizons. on top of that, if sprints network is so great and offers soooo much more, why havent tons of vzw, att and tmobile customers jumped ship? and the funniest thing i think sprint ever did was "any mobile any time," but only while on sprints network and whats the difference between "premium data" and "data," thats like when i goto valvoline and get ...
