Re: I like, but... » Caller ID Fix!
Sounds to me like you didn't reboot the phone like you're supposed to after installing the software. ;)
True, it doesn't fix the external caller ID issue. My external caller ID worked fine for the first week or so that I had the phone, then suddenly stopped.
Anyway, this software works great for me. There's no need to assign even a single picture if you don't want to. It still causes the caller to promptly identify your ...
Re: I like, but... » Caller ID Fix!
After another frustrating call to Samsung today (the level 2 tech knew almost nothing about this phone and I had to correct him a number of different times), I discovered this Photo Caller ID program that actually fixes the caller ID bug. No, I'm not thrilled about spending another $20 to fix a bug that came with this $500 phone; but on the other hand, it is a relief to see it finally working properly!

There is no fix for this and they gave no encouraging indication that one was forthcoming, although they "hope" there will be one.
2. Notes weren't included. I don't know if or when they will be.
Re: Will this run...
1. I can't comment on this yet.
2. On mine, the phone number appears promptly (internally/externally), but the person's name isn't pulled from my contacts until about 5 rings (if the call doesn't go to VM first). However, if I take the call (even after the first ring), the caller's name is pulled up immediately. I would definitely say that this is a major bug, which I sincerely hope gets fixed promptly. This bug is so lame -- it irritates ...
Re: Service agreement for e-mail?
To my knowledge, simply connecting to your mail server for sending and receiving your e-mail is treated/billed the same as surfing the web -- it's just basic Internet access. There is another add-on premium service whereby your Outlook on your desktop will synchronize with your phone wirelessly -- perhaps that's where you're getting confused.
Re: Windows Smartphone and Verizon
The SmartPhone syncs with Outlook using ActiveSync.
