BitPim will not directly recognize the Tritan. You have to manually set it to a LG Dare and then the only access is filesystem (which is somewhate dangerous).

The phone presently will not allow ANY jar installs and has very LIMITED Java support. As well it only supports Flash Lite (very few sites). Don't get me wrong, for simple text support it can access many sites. But there are A LOT of sites which content and capabilities are greatly diminished. There are many sites which require complicated login which cannot be be performed on the Tritan's Teleca browser.

Google Apps require Java support which the Tritan does not have.

Doesn't seem like a big deal, 6.5 has been out a while with no phone industry support.

I am on my third Tritan because of the Voice Commands not working. I believe the problem is training the phone, DON'T DO IT. Training several times is what breaks the Voice Commands. On my third I have not trained yet and it works ok, it is not perfect but better than nothing.

I am using the Tritan as a teathered modem 115.2 kbps (took some work hope to be able to connect @ 3G speeds when available). Utube video is very poor due to 1x connection and the lack od built in app. I haven't figured out how to sync w/ Outlook (prob can't). When using easyedge auto contact online backup the Tritan often freezes. I does not work w/ mobile gmail you must use mail.google.com or pop3.
