Guys... what's going on... it's April 1st!
I was expecting something different, it's a tradition to visit phonescoop on April 1st! super disappointing.
That kind of sucks.
I used that app a lot.
crap.
iPhone 5s is the Worst update ever.
So they added a processor thats 2x faster than the iPhone 5, a camera that takes the best pictures of any phone on the market and it's running 64-bit now but what else has changed?
A fingerprint sensor, really? A whole new operating system?
The phone still looks like the older phone! It LOOKS the same!
Sure, maybe it's the fastest phone on the market, has the best camera, more apps, console-quality games, more LTE bands than any other ...
I don't know....
I think there is a lot more places to fit the free iPhone 4 and the $100.00 iPhone 4s into the mix.
Seriously? This can't e a real lawsuit.
Apple era "caught" tracking cell tower data, not GPS data and the information was stored locally. (Meaning, on your computer and phone)
This whole lawsuit is mind-numbing lot frivolous.
The lawyers will probably be representing the next batch of owners who lose their cell phone and demand Apple track it for them...
Apple and Samsung are still partners. Not that it's relevant to this article
Bravo to Samsung, hopefully we will see some of those new faster processors coming our way soon!
I just have to get this out of my system.
I worked for T-Mobile for 4 years and recently left the company.
They are the single most dishonest and evil companies I've ever dealt with.
I will never deal with them again.
I would go into more detail, but it may not be appropriate.
Buyer beware. This company is one of the worst in existence.
Re: A woman
very true.
Re: Someone with power needs to...
Apple is afraid to compete in the marketplace...
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHA!
Oh man, you had me going there. Wow.
Apple is afraid to compete in the marketplace [that it created]
that's rich.
Re: Randall Stephenson is right, and that is why Sprint is running scared.
Lowering prices to attract customers is the best way to stay in business right?
Now, how would a company go about creating an atmosphere where they could charge less and turn a similar, if not larger profit?
Re: Randall Stephenson is right, and that is why Sprint is running scared.
Is that your rebuttle?
The Justice Department?
I guess you win. History has shown that our government ALWAYS knows what the hell it's doing.
The Justice department is playing a game. The government wants even more control and they will use this merger as leverage.
Re: Randall Stephenson is right, and that is why Sprint is running scared.
AT&T purchasing T-Mobile does not equal a monopoly, no matter how you look at it. It wouldn't be a monopoly on cellular service and it wouldn't be a monopoly on GSM. It doesn't matter what phone grandma is using. AT&T is not and never will be a monopoly.
Re: Randall Stephenson is right, and that is why Sprint is running scared.
That quote is verifiably false.
Re: Randall Stephenson is right, and that is why Sprint is running scared.
My performance is well above average.
I don't think I'll have a problem finding a job.
Re: Randall Stephenson is right, and that is why Sprint is running scared.
VOLTE.
Go ahead and look that up now.
"do your homework"
Re: Randall Stephenson is right, and that is why Sprint is running scared.
Alright, Now go look at Verizons roadmap for their LTE expansion.
I could do this all day.
A wise man once said "do your homework."
I'm bored now.
Re: Randall Stephenson is right, and that is why Sprint is running scared.
Hmm....
What kind of technology is LTE again?
Go ahead and look that up as well.
Re: Randall Stephenson is right, and that is why Sprint is running scared.
And what would you suggest they do to keep customers? Raise prices?
Sprint will be right there with open arms.
Re: Randall Stephenson is right, and that is why Sprint is running scared.
I'd encourage you to look up the definition of "monopoly" before responding again.
I want this phone.
The reviews are stellar and the phone looks like it is going to be amazing.
Randall Stephenson is right, and that is why Sprint is running scared.
Creating efficiencies in ANY market benefits the consumer. Prices go down, quality rises. AT&T may become the only GSM network in the nation, but that means nothing.
Prices for AT&T will go down if they are allowed to buy T-Mobile.
Why do you think Sprint is so terrified of this?
would have been a bad name for a smart phone....

I completely agree.
Putting the "net" under the governments control via legislation supposedly protecting us from those big bad companies is going to come back to bite us in the ass.
Just take a quick look at all the other web-related legislation our amazing government is coming up with.
The internet will soon be controlled entirely if we continue to let the government have ANY say in it at all.
Re: You know what WOULD create more jobs?
Oh for crying out loud, I am not a "Libertarian in disguise," I am a Libertarian.
I believe the SOLE existence of government is to preserve and protect the liberty of the people. To protect us from foreign and domestic hostility. I do not believe that any governing body or individual has any more rights that of the constituents to whom it represents.
I also believe in property rights, the very simple idea that your property belongs to you, ...
You know what WOULD create more jobs?
The government keeping its filthy hands off of EVERYTHING.
LOL!!!
In what world does the US government actually represent its people? I can't think of a single thing in the last ten years that hasn't been done IN SPITE of what the people want. Our constitution means absolutely nothing, our freedom is being limited more and more every day and your suggestion is to move?
"if you don't like what's going on in this country, move to another"
I've heard people say that before, and it generally strikes me as ...
What I don't get is...
Honestly, the merger going through would be a HUGE benefit to Sprint if everything they are saying is true.
I mean, unless AT&T can use the merger to create efficiencies and lower costs. Then Sprint would be out of luck with fewer people jumping ship.
The real questions are:
How is this deal bad for "the consumer?"
Less choice? Sure, but now AT&T and T-Mobile customers have a low cost carrier to jump ship to... Sprint.
Higher bills? Sure, but now ...
NO WAY!!!!
A government official overseeing a lawsuit, in which the plaintiff IS the government, is allowing more people to jump onto the governments side?
hmm....
Re: IOS5
I'm glad they are fixing the problem.
Sure beats the Android manufacturers stance on fixing bugs:
"we know there are issues, just buy the latest phone to resolve them!"
no ban on federal taxes?
Seems like a way for the federal government to gain even more control of the state.
The Amaze.
And not just because it is newer, but it has the better camera sensor and it is very very fast.
Re: If this is the best Nokia can do, then they should quit
sell what sells, and trash the rest.
Because Nokia Windows Phone 7 handsets aren't selling that well?
If they ran Android...
Nobody would care at all if this phone ran on Android, in fact, it would be suicide for Nokia to even consider. The spec-heads would riot! "no dual-core'" "no huge screen'" "no robotic arm that comes out of the screen and types for you!"
These phones are severely underpowered for the latest incarnation of Android. Their saving grace IS Windows phone 7 and superior hardware.
I think Windows is going to surprise us all. They have a very easy to ...
Re: impressed.
I think Windows is in it for the long haul. They have literally invested BILLIONS into this deal. They have a slow-growing base right now, but Nokia is the best hardware partner you could possibly have to help you out.
Nokia has completely given up on Symbian, so like Microsoft, you can expect them to put a lot into this partnership for quite a while, even if it doesn't seem to be working out initially, they have put everything ...
impressed.
The Lumia 800 looks really really really nice. Any word on a U.S. release date?
yes
Unless the phone they reviewed last year had a dual-core processor, a faster graphics card, an 8 mega-pixel camera and a re-vamped antenna system you were probably reading the review for the iPhone 4. Try paying attention.
Just saying.
I wonder what this means?
Not so much the ruling, we all know what that means.
I am more wondering why no one chose to comment here.
Re: RIP Steve
He will be missed.
wow. we will miss you.
steve jobs made it fun to be a fanboy.
I think everyone here will miss him.
Re: iFail S
I agree a couple of the remarks went a little bit too far. I got caught up in the moment. Not really sure why I get upset on forums .
