I've been using paper checks for years, on purpose. Those stupid idiots who won't provide any benefit to me (let alone CHARGE me) for paying online.....they can foor the bill to have someone there to collect my letter, open it, manually pull the check out...etc.
This thing by VZW is very counter-intuitive, but thats how they roll I guess.
It would make more sense if they charged peple like me for writing checks....and offered free online payments....DOH....STFU!!! 8O

I agree...to a point. I would not dump them over this, but I did take my Rezound back. Each time 4G went down.....so did 3G (for me). Not happy that the VZW reps tried to say that wasn't possible...looks like their own VP proved them wrong.
Don't wanna be on the BLEEDING edge of technology anymore. With the Rezound, the 4G phone battery issues (known, but still an issue), and connection issues...I hadn't been so frustrated ...
I'd like to see the data...
On just how they have been compromised. I doubt ANYONE, for decades, has ever confused one BBM for the other. This is in Webster's if you look up FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT.

HERE is the key, in this day and age, to marketing for carriers OTHER THAN the suck-@$$ ATT:
If you are INSIDE a building, you want your phone to work 100%. Whether that building is intact, crumbling around you due to fire or flood....or the building is totally destroyed and you are somewhere in the rubble.
ATT flat our sucks! Yes, I know GSM technology has a weakness when it comes to penetrating buildings.....but when your POS ATT phone ...

I looked at mine...thinking the map would zoom in and really detail my travels.
I was, to say the least, extremely let down...though I guess that is good.
Not speaking to the right or wrong issue...just the data...it was VERY BROAD and really, couldn't be used to accurately pin-point my location.
Granted, that is just my 2 cents, based on the rendition provided by the free software. It is very possible that there are MORE details stored...but my initial fears of ...

the same as true voice and data. On GSM for example....my friend can CALL me on my PHONE...and as I am TALKING to him I can launch my browser and surf the net.
NO SKYPE involved. You CANNOT do that on your CDMA 3G network, no way, no how...go back to school!

When conditions are IDEAL...I am seeing the ATT iPhone download apps/updates and web surf faster than the VZW iPhone.

My conditions are far from ideal most of my work day....so I typically see VZW doing things faster, updating, loading, downloading, etc.
Its a catch-22. I notice the ATT iPhone has faster data speeds....but it is not during most of my day. I guess if I NEVER went into a building, NEVER went tot he mall, or ...

What is it you do on a daily basis??? My ATT iPhone is currently at 79% and my VZW iPhone is at 75%.
Some texting, emails, several calls on each....its 4:30PM here (its 5 o'clock somewhere).

Voice quality is excellent, both at my end and at the other end.
NO dropped calls at all...though I will admit that my primary number is still the ATT iPhone, so it still gets a bit more use. That will change by the end of this weekend.....BYE ATT!
Also, an update to the email details I previously posted.
As I sit here at home, 4 bars ATT, 4 bars VZW, each and every email that has come in has hit both ...

Carrying both ATT and VZW. In true geek style (plus..I'm a bit anal in my testing scenarios at work anyways), each phone has all the same apps, in all the same places.
I usually have them right beside each other wherever I am...currently, I am at my desk (where I spend a majority of my time.

Most people hopefully realize that, while talk-and-surf is a great feature....if you can't do one, or the other...or either...it isn't much of a feature.
As I've posted...I have been ATT iPhone since forever....and I now am carrying BOTH. Side-by-side, as I type this....ATT = 1 bar, VZW = 5 bars. Side-by-side comparison based on MY apps, MY location, MY needs....I'll be selling my ATT iPhone4 to finance the ETF.

I'm carrying them BOTH right now and have been for a couple days.
So far, the ONLY advantage ATT has is the talk-and-surf feature. Other than that, my side-by-side testing, in the real world and not comparing numbers on a bench....THAT IS THE ONLY advantage ATT has.
People look at me funny because I'll be launching apps/etc at the same time (Facebook, Weather Channel, App Store, USA Today....), and, on average....the VZW iPhone is faster/better.
Occasionally, the ATT iPhone will load ...
